-Character building is king
-Like Naruto, there are many different squads you meet over the course of the show, each with distinctive fighting styles and are recurring characters
-Outside threats as well as inside (mostly) friendly competition
-Long form show with a 100 or so episodes so far
-MC is an underdog
-Unlike Naruto, it is a bit slow at first, doesn't quite start off with a banger like the Zabuza arc
-Has guns, sort of, still lots of melee experts or "Attackers" though
