Both main characters save the life of a person, little does they known it will change the future for both of them. The art in the anime is similar if I haven’t forgotten and they aired same year. In Zipang the main character is not alone, but you can feel the same feeling as they both try to stop the person who is evil and take the responsibility for their action and what they have done.
I think you will like them both very much if you like one of them.
