Koutetsujou no Kabaneri

Both series have very intense fighting scenes, murdering monsters and main characters with a hysterical (superhuman) strength. Apart from that, there is a lot of drama, betrayal, action and existential questioning. Claymore has only girls fighters in a medieval fantasy setting. While Kabaneri (turned monsters) are usually women (in the plot at least), the main character is a man and their universe is steam-punk feudal Japan like.
