Both have a protagonist with a power in his eyes. Every episode the protagonist deals with supernatural things. The voice actors are the same for the main girl and the main boy in both animes.
The whole atmosphere of both stories is of a powerful guy with problems of his own that he tries to keep bottled up but the girl manages to get to him and they create a strond bond between each other. Rather then romance, you can tell there's a lot of caring between the characters despite their stubborn attitudes. Very similar for sure!

Yakumo is similar to Kazuma because of their pasts and both an "unwanted" son. The two anime has a father and son rivalry. Both main female character both airheads sometimes yet a good partner to the main male character and both share similar feelings.
