Both shows feature a mystery of who is the traitor in the group? In Rokka, it is a fantasy series with emphasis on some adventure, magic, and battles. It is one big mystery across the season. Danganronpa is a school setting with multiple small mysteries with a final reveal. Both also feature the main protagonist pushed to their limits, and both MCs are also reasonably smart though still just the average person in their group.

Closed space genre. With N people trapped in situation where none could get in or get out and traitors lurking among them.

Both are mystery anime involving a group of people who are trapped and must find the individual amongst themselves who is the one responsible for trapping them there. Rokka no Yuusha is set in an action/fantasy world while Danganronpa is set in a school environment, but they both have many resemblances in their plot, specifically the debates they have about who is the culprit, though Danganronpa focuses much more on who is responsible for each individual case that pops up, while Rokka no Yuusha is just one big man hunt for the overall culprit.

Both stories revolve around a main mystery. In Danganronpa, there are a series of small mysteries that eventually all lead up to the larger one. In Rokka no Yuusha, the characters are trying to figure out a larger mystery throughout the show. Both animes have suspense and make your brain twist while trying to decipher the clues and hints.

Both the anime are similar in terms of the Mystery Type. - Both are Spot-the-killer Type Mystery - Both have a decent amount of people in question That's all there is to these anime really. If you like these types of Mystery Series, then I'd definitely recommend Danganronpa-Rokka no Yusha combo.

The same kind of "whodunit" anime. Theyre both good. Really alike

Rokka no Yuusha and Danganronpa include some mystery in figuring out a certain person within a group. The "certain person" in both anime pose some threat to the rest of the group, and the protagonist is the main force driving the mystery to an edge; there, the mystery is revealed. There are also characters in both that line up with each other, such as Nachetanya with Maizono or Celestia, Hans with Celestia or Hagakure, and Maura with Kirigiri or Togami.

In both Rokka No Yuusha and Danganronpa, the MCs are trapped and forced to solve puzzles after puzzles, sort of like an escape room. They get you to recall past events that happened in the anime, and when they finally reveal the truth, it makes you go "oh, so that's what happened.".

Locked room mystery type. The accusations and evidences which makes the "who done it" guesses difficult to establish. One would be a masterpiece if it had a season 2 and the other would have been a masterpiece if adapted at least in a 24 ep format. Both are enjoyable to watch and has unique characters.

Unconventional whodunnit mystery shows, set in very unique closed spaces. Both involve a group of characters getting trapped and having to figure out a traitor that is hiding between them as their only means of escape.
