Taking place in a fantasy world, both series feature many elements that defies the logic of nature. The main male protagonist has guts and often takes risky moves. At the same time, they are acquainted with a female protagonist who tries to change their world.
There is a decent amount of comedy and drama going on. With humorous dialogues and conversation, I recommend both series for people who want a taste of fantasy fun.
When the big game started in No Game No life the only title I could think of was Maoyuu Maou Yuusha, they share a common atmosphere I enjoyed very much.
Basically the two main characters do pretty much the same thing, they improve a human world with knowledge that is alien to its inhabitants, and they do it step by step too, actually we can say it's big game they are playing in Maoyuu Maou Yuusha.
Also, in my opinion main charaters in both titles have questionable social skills, moreover they both have a bond and that's extremely cute.
