A somewhat unconfident guy and 2+ girls plus a big pack of drama.

The same basic story. A shy girl likes the main guy, but is to shy to ask him out, so she gets her bold friend (who also happens to like the guy) to ask him out for her.

Both anime have love triangle between girl who match pair together and then takes the boy by herself. Both looks like "sad" ending...

School Days gave me the self-proclamed "Great Depression of Martin." Both anime turned a happy pervert into a sad and depressed man who finally began to think clearly and work harder in school. Honestly i recommend both for anyone who is a pervert so they can reach enlightenment and become better men. I hate sex now, adultery and rape makes me sick as well.

Both feature a guy with doubts between two woman. Even though they are very different men. =p Also in both all the characters seem to develop mental pathologies...

Somehow, the two just seem so similiar. Both are based of the H-game of the same name. The leading guy is an absolute moron (more so in School Days with Makoto, but KimiNozo's Takayuki ain't far off). A shy girl likes the lead, so the outgoing friend of the shy girl tries to hook them up by befriending the main, only for the friend to fall in love with the lead too. There are harem-y aspects to either anime, with plenty of scenes either leading to sex, or from sex. However, School Days is far more extreme.

Tragic plot centering around a love triangle with a single male lead. I found the ending of both series to be unsettling. KGNE feels a little more adult in it's emotional portrayal of the characters and their situations compared to School Days. School Days is crap though whereas KGNE is awesome :P

Okay these animes has the same kind of feelings to it. The beginning is kind of the same as well. For example there is one "girl who is in love with the guy,"(Haruka,Kotonoha) and they're "friend want to get them together,"(Mitsuki,Sekai) but falls in love with the guy while trying to get the two together. something tragic happens in both of them and makes the guy fall in love with the friend. So the story begins.

They both deal with very high tense drama but with different issues and endings but if you like more adult and serious stuff then these two are for you.

school days and kimi ga nozomu eien has a similar vibe to it......what i mean is that it has a emotional way of depressing you and it both sucks and is also very entertaining that you just can't stop watching it.......it's both a love-triangle anime also.....i'd strongly recommend watching a happy comedy-romance theme after watching this series which goes both for "school days" and kimi ga nozomu eien.

School Days relates to Kimi ga Nozomu Eien by having both portray a lot of appealing romance and drama. They both deal with a love triangle and Mitsuki's character relates to Sekai, and Haruka's character relates to Kotonoha. Both deal with tragic events and a struggle between the main heroines striving to persuade their lover's interest.

Both series leave you with the exact same feeling of dread while watching the characters interact with eachother.

-Both animes focuses very deeply into the story that involves love triangles and one-sided love as well as problems surrounding it. -School Life/Drama

Both are mature stories (seinen shows) and have dramatic romances that started at school with a love triangle. They also have soft scenes of sex.

School Days and Kimi ga Nozomu Eien are very similar in many ways, especially in plot and characters. In both of these series you'll find the usual stereotypical characters that are pretty common in this type of anime: The painfully shy girl who obsessively loves the male lead, the tomboyish, outgoing girl who becomes more and more angsty and melodramatic as the series goes on, and the male lead with barely any personality whatsoever. Both anime also have a soap opera-like love triangle that is the cause of much angst in both shows, and due to contrived reasons (mainly due to the male lead's extreme   read more

Both have very good dramatic story with love triangle

A relationship between the male protagonist begins when a female friend of his pairs him together with a friend of hers, only for the truth to come out: that she had feelings for him all along. Both Anime include scenes of intense drama, suspense, romance and love triangles.

There's this guy, he's kind of an idiot. The there's two girls. Girl 1 is shy and sweet while Girl 2 is tomboyish. Girl 2 sets up guy with Girl 1 despite harboring secret feelings for the guy. Then drama happens, with a story filled with twists and turns, with most of the problems happening because the guy is really stupid.

Love triangles and cheating.

Both are romantic dramas with similar indecisive male leads caught in a love triangle. One of the girls in the love triangle originally sets him up with the other girl even though she has feelings for him. From there, the guy makes stupid mistakes and lies his way to the end while bringing the people around him down as well.

Do you want a far more interesting love triangle than School Days? So watch Kimi ga nozomu eien. Yeah, this is melodramatic but characters have a soul unlike in school days
report Recommended by Alyta98
Similar. Both are school romances about cheating, love triangles and both make you feel like shit. Kimi Ga is better.
report Recommended by ZetaSoujiro
Both anime revolve around the consequences of cheating. You'll drown in the melodrama.
