The aura of the to shows are similar. Even if the stories are quite different, but they both have the same slow tempo with a lot of explaining at it's center. They're both mystery shows that keeps pulling you in even though the story telling is slow. The art of Kyokou Suiri is also quite similar to the classic Kyoto animation style of Hyouka.
Both focus on solving mysteries and getting to conclusions. Both mc's always looked bored or uninterested, especially towards the main love interest, who is always bubbly and pushy with them. Heavy on dialogue and explaining, but does not disappoint with visuals and story. Both definitely worth watches!

They have a very similar way of solving mysteries but looking more at all possible solutions. There is not a lot of drama or action going on but they focus on the episode's specific mystery. The main characters in both animes are very good at picking up details and creating whole stories from them.
