Tanaka-kun and Oreki both like to do things that require the least amount of energy. Although Tanaka-kun takes it to a whole new level and is more of a school-life comedy while Hyouka is a mystery anime. Both the Anime have a rather cute art style.

If you like an main character with a Laziness personality like Oreki Houtarou in Hiyouka, then this anime is the closest one. The Main Character is Tanaka, lazy but have "power" XD

Similar main characters, but Tanaka takes laziness to a whole new level

+ The main characters are very similar to how they both long for a quiet, peaceful life and are perceived as being very lazy. + An eccentric female character who takes an interest in the male main character. + Both are slow-paced and calm slice-of-life shows. - Hyouka focuses more on mysteries, visuals, and music. - Tanaka-kun is Always Listless has a much more relatable and chill feeling.

Both shows are centered around an energy-conservative main character with similar personalities and mannerisms. Both shows take place in a school setting with a cultural festival episode, though Tanaka-kun does not have the mystery plot to it and feels more lighthearted and comedic.

Will call it Tanaka-kun because the title is too long. Tanaka-kun is dull, slow, and boring in the beginning, but it gets better. The art is good in both, but it is light in Tanaka-kun. They both are Slice of life and school, but Tanaka-kun has comedy, unlike Hyouka, which is a mystery and more serious. Tanaka-kun is a little clichéd, but it is mixed in well with the listlessness attribute, and most people will be able to relate to Tanaka. There isn't an FMC like Hyouka, though there is one-sided love, you could say. The show will get you, and it will make you   read more

Keduanya termasuk bagian dari 'GUE BANGET' dan juga sifat Tanaka yang tidak hanya ingin mager sekaligus ingin bersantai terlihat sama seperti Houtarou Oreki inginkan.

They are both school slice of life anime with a lazy main characters. Both series are also chilling and optimistic, but they involve different things. Hyouka focuses on students who engage in mysteries while Tanaka Kun centers around the lives of a lazy guy with a lighter tone.
