Nobunaga Concerto

Kingdom and Nobunaga Concerto both follow the path of outstanding individuals who made history and ruled "under heaven." In Kingdom, Zheng will later become Shi Huangdi, ruler of China, and in Nobunaga Concerto (if you haven't guessed already), it follows Oda Nobunaga, who united Japan. Zheng and Saburou (Nobunaga's fill in) also share great thinking together, even though most times Saburou looks like a fool, while Zheng is often just a figure head (much to his distaste).
The biggest difference, I would say, is the time traveling aspect in Nobunaga Concerto. Other than that, Kingdom is focused more on the violence and the actual wars, while

Both stories follow the history of a well known conqueror and how they got to power.
Both MC's are intelligent, courageous and ambitious, they handle situations unlike any other
Both Anime's have similar art style's and character design
Both narratives involve Historical, Action, Adventure, Fantasy

Both series take place in Ancient Asia (Kingdom in China; Nobunaga in Japan) and depicts the journey of one man looking to conquer and unite the whole of China/Japan respectively. However, Kingdom pays more attention to actual battles and strategies as it's main character is a boy looking to become a legendary general, not the King himself. Nobunaga does not have enough episodes to afford doing that.
Both are great historical animes.
