nice, glad to hear you are liking frieren! yup it's a slower paced chill that focuses on the characters and the atmosphere first, it somehow makes mundane stuff interestingly and attaches a wholesome story to it. looking forward to hearing your thoughts on the later arcs!

honestly that makes a lot of sense, iirc there was an interview from someone at jump around this time who talked about how this raid will be bigger than marineford. now this could just be PR talk however it's possible that higher ups kinda rushed oda to get to the good hype bits. yeah act 1 and 2 are fine, the prison area drags on a bit but it's still enjoyable. act 3 however is a wild ride haha! it does some great stuff like jinbei finally joining the crew after being teased for so long, kinemon accidentally being the smartest man alive etc, but it does some weird stuff like having too many moving pieces as you mentioned, the deaths not actually happens which made me skeptical towards the characters who actually die later on like i felt nothing for ashura, also chopper just curing an unknown new disease in a couple hours etc. yeah like franky and neko mamushi just took down jack on their own no help needed at all lmao. yup i really didn't like that storyline, i feel like there could've been a better way to handle this than just using the amnesia storyline, like this could've been a double cross situation where she willingly goes along with kaido's plan to take wano for herself or something, though this may be out of character for her. yup yonko are just on a whole different level compared to their first mate which makes sense in the story but from action wise it can feel pretty inconsistent, like why kidd thought he could beat shanks? he couldn't even do much to kaido and needed law to take down big mom. oh definitely, that flashback was so good! oda's writing was brilliant during that section it's my favorite part of wano after gear 5, though yeah maybe we were too hyped for act 3. expectations for egghead were definitely justified, it honestly has went way beyond from what people imagined this arc to be. yup he's a genius i think we learnt that pretty early on haha!
yeah there was just so much going on that franky didn't get to have more interactions with vegapunk, yup hopefully at least lilith survives this so that franky can gain the technical knowledge and use that for his upgrades. yeah elbaf will be usopp's egghead, he's been wanting to go there since little garden. i bet loki and usopp will be best friends during elbaf haha! for nami it makes sense she's a glass cannon, like a wizard in D&D she can do a lot of damage but in a close range fight she would take a lot of damage. usopp should've had a fight in wano that would've expanded his observation haki more. i hope oda bring the batman usopp back for the fight against van augur, usopp will win with prep time haha! though yeah he needs a big upgrade to find against the guy who can teleport. yeah there will be some big stuff in elbaf like the void century, loki, giant tree that pierces the heavens, possible kidd redemption arc? if he's still alive, nika lore etc. yeah it must be so difficult for everyone who got into one piece through live action or just starting the anime/manga, especially now that spoilers are everywhere on the internet. yup it's super fun to discuss and theorize about what might happen in the future! but yeah waiting is the most difficult part haha!

yeah lmao! maybe when franky hit big mom with the bike it took a significant chunk out of her hp for law and kidd to take her down quickly. yup it's crazy to think that considering wano's been built up since technically thriller bark and it felt kinda not as well planned, maybe we just had really high expectations? since we were on the way to wano since punk hazard then we got to zou then had to get through dressrosa and wholecake to get to wano which built up a lot of hype that it didn't live up to until gear 5 happened and then had an abrupt finish due to the kabuki structure. yup big mom definitely felt nerfed compared to the destruction she caused at wholecake, maybe she had brain damage after all the times she had amnesia during wano (i hated that trope btw, it took away any threatening aura she had), law and kidd did awaken during the fight that probably helped a lot. yeah the gorosei are definitely on a level of their own, like luffy couldn't hurt them at all, as for shanks it's difficult gauge his level considering the only time we see him fight is against kidd who was a pushover, but yeah i think it's safe to assume he's stronger than kaido. yeah even with that it feels very spiteful haha!
yeah franky upgrade would be awesome! especially considering egghead is the perfect place for it, maybe he could inherit the will of vegapunk or the ancient kingdom by the end of the arc and upgrade his gear around it. yeah i think characters like usopp, franky, chopper, brook definitely need an upgrade soon if they are going to fight the blackbeard crew 1v1 and of course the god knights. yeah honestly it's possible that with the paw paw fruit lily could've sent it on the moon, it's a possibility that it holds some important secrets if she had to send it off planet. yeah it's either a big party or bringing down the red line and uniting the 4 blues, which i don't think would make his crew laugh so maybe that's not it. or maybe it's both.
yeah it's definitely a step in interesting direction, i wonder if oda is going there. oh i completely forgot about red hawk! this makes sense, maybe if we get a gear 6 it would be eternal flame luffy, nika is the son god but we don't know why he's specifically given that title, maybe he's connected to the flames in some way. it's be an interesting twist yeah!
