You do realize your in the minority with your opinion on Rima right? Maybe you set your bar too high or something but I'll just leave it at that because I'm lost on your preferences with characters now so I don't think its worth explaining anything about Rima. =\

I prefer her strong side wasn't so psychotic and wrongful though. And in most animes I seen, there's always more strong minded girls than weak ones in a single anime so there isn't actually a lot of useless weak girls, is just that the majority of anime watchers prefer those so they stand out more. Take a look at my top 10, they are all strong girls, physically and mentally. Or maybe too much to the point of no emotions XD but that's another reason why I like them. >_>
Unless you actually prefer characters like Nena, have you seen Mai Hime? You will get similar vibes from the charaters in Mai Hime from Nena's character type, I guess it has to do with it being produced by Sunrise. Characters that are a bit over the top when it comes to their actions like something did you really have to go that far kind of thing.
I dropped Eureka 7 so I don't really know much about Eureka, lol Tohru, yeah I can see that. Amber, of course, man she was annoying and C.C., I don't like her either. I dislike Nena because how she was flirting with Setsuna and he didn't like that and Nena was all like, "Don't make me angry *evil face*". And she also killed everyone that was attending a wedding.

You know whats weird though? Rie Kugimiya does her voice. One of her few roles for girls like that.
