i prefer sci-fi mixed in with romance and action. Honestly I'm into romance, in any type of setting xD I've never watched Yaoi though, it just feels different, but mild incest has been a trend in a couple of plot twisted animes. It doesn't interest me directly, but it interests me as to how sad it would turn out. Slice of life is my favorite.

All those titles you mentioned seems really dark, I am against extreme violence xD it's my natural fear xD Books? You mean manga? I'm not into any, sorry. But books as in novels, I'm into those mainstream movies xD

I certainly look forward to reading them in the future! I confess that I'm a bit broke right now as I just recently bought some Xbox games, but the Ai no Kusabi novels are next on my list to purchase. Hopefully I'll have enough self control to not buy anything else till then, lol :)

No way! Oh my gosh, I had no idea that happened in the novel! I read bits and pieces of the novel but I don't ever remember there being that kind of relationship between Luke and Riki. I mean, in the anime, Luke wasn't really a significant character so I never really thought much if him. But whoa, I'm going to have to look this up! Is Riki not bothered by Luke's...er.... advances?

Lol, I know! I'm not complaining though, Riki looked... nice in his clothes. :) I just wished there were more Iason and Riki moments in the remake, they ended it on such a weird note, I would do anything to see it continue.

Lol, I have a hard time sleeping too! Usually I'll be watching an anime and I'll tell myself "okay, just one more episode" and before I know it I've watched 10 episodes and it will be 1:00 in the morning. And your description of Riki, I couldn't stop laughing! He really is something else. I mean, Riki has to be one of the... nicest looking anime guys out there. I always found it funny how in the beginning of the remake, he's wearing those black pants and that small black shirt and, three years later, he's still wearing them! And I agree with you about his original version, his face was a little girly at times. I preferred how they did his hair in the remake too, there were so many times when I was watching Ai no Kusabi and going " what I wouldn't give to touch his hair just once." :)

Haha, thank you! I was originally going to make it a picture of Iason but there were so many good shots of him, I just couldn't decide :D And I definitely know how you feel, it really is a shame that they couldn't finish the remake. But if nothing else, I'm happy I got to see an even better looking version of Rikki in the 2012 remake, I have to admit that I was always impressed by his abs, I mean talk about a 6 pack!

Hmm, as for the ending, I thought it was soo sad! I was so shocked when I first watched the original and Guy just CUT IT OFF, well I was also surprised when he KIDNAPPED Riki though. I really love Iason x Riki. I think the ending was good and don't want to change it cause in their situation, I really don't think Riki would have realized his feelings for Iason unless it happened. I'm just talking about the original though. In the remake, it felt as though even without that ending Riki would eventually realize his feelings. I like tragic ending though so I would still be fine if that stuff happened, though Guy thoroughly pissed me off with the act of CUTTING IT OFF. Well, for any recommendations, I don't know any like Ai no Kusabi except maybe My Love View Finder, but that's sorta different(really different). Also, I do like yaoi, but I think our preferences are a little different. Ai no Kusabi was just that good though, so. I like more tragic types and don't really care if its innocent or hard core. Sorry for no recommendations though.
