Toradora is definitely a great show and worth a watch, one of my favorite rom/com. Would be a great break from serious/gory shows at least.
As for ghostory, it's worth another episode if you found the dialogue engaging. If it hasn't hooked you by the end of its 2nd episode and you gave it a good chance, then it probably just isn't for you considering their banter is a main point of the series.
Shingeki no Kyojin is definitely a bit gory and the titans are especially creepy. It's a great show though and definitely worth a watch - though if you want a more light hearted show next I wouldn't recommend it quite yet.
As for ghostory, there's definitely some very gore filled parts but the vast majority of the anime is dialogue so I don't think it should ward you off much because of the gore.
I personally enjoyed ghostory quite a bit but it's pretty subjective. I think it's a love it or hate it kind of anime and it's pretty easy to gauge ones attitude towards it after an episode or two based off the dialogue.
Nice, glad you enjoyed it. Claire is one of my favorites and if you haven't seen the specials you should definitely see them as it expands on him in particular quite a bit.
I like him a lot more than Ladd, he has a fun personality aside from his crazy killing side whilst I feel Ladd is just a crazy killer.
If you've already seen the specials and you're looking for another anime to watch, give Shingeki no Kyojin a try. It's ongoing but so far it's pretty awesome and the titans are just amazing.
Glad to see it's coming together for you, as for Ladd and Lua - I wouldn't say I like them but they're interesting and it's fun to watch the crazy situations that pop up because of them.
I loved all the characters in Baccano, was a blast to watch particularly because of how sweet they all were.
It's definitely confusing at first but as the series goes on it starts to clear up and put everything together so don't worry about not understanding too much early on.
About Yumekui Merry, I realize I've watched it looking at the description :O. Still a few anime I have watched that aren't on my list apparently.
It was pretty good but nothing special, there's better anime to pick up based off the amount of anime you have watched - Baccano for example.
As for falling out of the mood for anime, sometimes I'll get into something more than anime like a T.V. series, game, or book but I tend to always come back to anime for the most part.
Yeah, next time you're in the mood for Black Rock Shooter just stick with the OVA. It's short and does what it set out to do pretty well. The T.V. series tried to be something more and it just failed to me.
As for Nai, I actually like him. He's super weak but I kind of have Gareki's attitude toward him, can't really hate him as he's just too cute and innocent. He's also not too much of a wimp, he'll help out to the extent of his abilities which isn't much but still :D.
Baccano and Darker than Black are both good shows, I'd suggest Baccano over Darker than Black though. Darker than Black has a fairly disappointing second season while Baccano is great all the way through. It also has a more compelling mystery with the alchemy so I think you would really like it.
I agree 100% with your statement that there is more to life than working. :3 You may enjoy K-On!! but it's completley different from the stuff you already watched and liked. ;~;

Noticed you were watching the Black Rock Shooter TV series, personally I preferred the OVA much more.
As for the airing anime, Karneval was a great choice. Seems to be getting progressively better especially the most recent episode.
I keep hearing about stiens gate its about a magic microwave?

Death Note, didnt like it the first time?
You should read it. As soon as you get it. Hahahha xD. So I have someone to talk about it. =P
Oh yeah and him being a fire-user is really cool. I remember some part somewhere where he burned something for Lissa. It was really good. Hahhaha xD
