Haha none taken! There definitely were a lot of things I agreed with you on, especially how it tries too hard, but I think a huge part of what helped me enjoy it more was the character development, specifically Ringo's.

Hi, just wanted to say that I really appreciated your Penguindrum review! Even though I really liked the anime, it's always refreshing to get a new perspective on things :)

Hahah you have a point, but what I generally do is reading the reviews on MAL during or after I have watched a show, because I either want to have my opinion validated by other users or sometimes, if my opinion is vastly different from the majority, I want to know if I am missing something. And then some series leave me so upset, that I just enjoy reading bad reviews - I guess this is the reason why I read yours xD

By the way yes, I finished Penguindrum, and I was not impressed to say the least, I left my own review just to take it out of my system.

Good luck with your writing! I understand how difficult it may be, I sometimes try myself, I toy with the idea of being a writer, but I am shamefully lazy and easily distracted, I am a master procrastinator and I don't have the mental stamina to go back to the same piece for an extensive amount of time, so yeah I have struggled a lot with that. But yes, you should give it a try with a blog! I am a terrible media socialite, but if you start it, I'll be glad to check it out!

Hi there. All I can say is that you probably said or did something that didn't make sense. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. Maybe you were talking to someone who didn't make sense. I don't do things randomly. Funny thing is that the quote applies to this very situation. You waited 3 years and thought this was worth it. Of course I wouldn't remember this at all. :p

It was really good! Amazing characters and complex but easily understandable plot, probably the best shonen ever made :D
