Also, I dropped SAO at the point where our lovely couple Kirito and Asuna decided to go fishing. And then they found some little girl... ( ???? ) I really don't see why I should torture myself and finish SAO.
What comes to animation, I believe something like Fate/Zero accomplishes way better + it has breathtaking story ( imo ).

But yeah, I can't say I'm too surprised. Due to the popularity of the original, the creators would have to be stupid not to make a second season. I'll probably watch it anyways, just for shits and giggles. My hopes aren't too high, though, considering what a train wreck it initially was.
