ye, the jojo memes can really be detrimental to one's enjoyment, i can imagine how bad that is in combation with taking place in your own country. those food names must be even more silly when it's your own native language.

luckily i am pretty much out of the jojo (meme) community. it's not my favorite part by any means, but the adaption was really solid and there's quite a few things i enjoy about it.

Not much going on with life at the moment. I was doing an internship for a few months after graduating, but haven't been able to find employment since then. I mostly have been playing FFXIV and consuming weeb media while trying to get a job. I recently began Dies Irae, so that's neat.

the only real thing that's been going on here is trying to finish my degree in digital design and innovation and being overly obsessed with the life of an awful canadian rapper in crippling debt called Unkle Adams

it was quite the bad enviroment yeah, for the most part i felt like i was just holding myself and my opinions back in order to fit in and it made me feel like shit in the end, so i'm glad we both can agree that it was a dark era (though i will admit to enjoying some of the meme streams to some extent, which makes my feelings a bit more.....mixed, I suppose?)

i assume life's been keeping you busy too, hasn't it? you consumed anything wortwhile lately?

i still consume anime and manga pretty regularly (even started dipping my toes into the few american shows that actually interest me, with Twin Peaks being the only one thus far to really impress me in the end), but sadly my watch and reading time has followed a similar trend due to life being busy (as well as still having a presence online, including with some of our mutuals that I still talk to, surprisingly)

I'm more or less alright and have been trying to focus on getting a diploma before planning further ahead
I still got an okay amount of free time and I spend it on the usual play/read/watch stuff tho I wish I could explore more
Thankfully, I'm also still keeping in touch with most of the others whether it's on dc or twitter and it has helped me become more open about myself or the things that I like
Back then I was scared to voice out my own thoughts even in the cave but looking back at it now I can simply lol
Ah that makes sense, I didn't notice it tho I think that most were okay with it or at least they are now

Eeeh Idk I didn't like Extra all that much; it felt like it had an interesting world and setup but didn't really go anywhere with it imo, the early half in particular is fairly boring

CCC I've only read the online TL of Gils route as I sadly cannot read Japanese, but it was indeed excellent, definitely a step up from Extra

Well he did release extella which is apparently extra 2.0 (In that its bad) but yeah fgo took over nasuverse rip

Well yeah, his planning would supposedly go Tsuki:Re->Mahoyo 2 and 3->other projects
but nowadays you can add unspecified number of Fate/ projects before anything else lol
