It's actually kinda spooky how Takuto and Meroko's voice actors died in relation to the anime. Takuto's died in a car accident, similar to his own character, and Meroko's died of cancer, similar to Mitsuki. Both in the same year too. .~.

xxxHolic starts of only a little above average, but at least when it comes to the Anime it REALLY comes together in the second season and beyond. I haven't gotten to that point in the manga yet, so I can't compare them. Tsubasa on the other hand started really strong but then didn't progress beyond the episodic nature much. The manga we shall see how it does. I have faith! :3

I looked into it a bit more, and I was a bit off. The first episode that aired of the English Dub was the 8th episode. The first episode is still supposed to be the first, I dunno why they didn't air it like that. It's been a very very long time since I watched it in English, so my memory is a bit fuzzy in that regard! Sorry! XP

I went back and forth with how I felt about Madoka. I mean she was obviously supposed to be a "villain" of sorts at first, so I disliked her a lot, but when they did go deeper into her character I grew to appreciate her a bit more. Plus I would have loved to see her reaction to finding out more about Mitsuki and why she wanted to be a singer, but that wasn't really possible. And yes the music! It's all so amazing! I've teared up just listening to it and remembering. I really wish Myco would do more singing/voice acting...

Saying which I prefer more is kinda tough depending on the subject matter. I have a really hard time processing action heavy manga, since it's not always obvious to me what's going on fight scenes and such. It often looks like just a mess of lines and poses and I get very confused. Reading xxxHolic has been really helping me adapt to it a bit more, cause it's not very action heavy but it still has a lot of moments where magic and effects occur that might normally confuse me. Until I do finally overcome that, I prefer Anime when it comes to Action type material, but Manga is always better for very story and character driven stuff! <3

I am a big fan! And I started the manga very recently! I wanted the extra depth they go into, as well as learning more about Madoka's character, cause I heard a lot of her story is completely cut out!

That is a bit slow, but also something I'm unfamiliar with, so they wait wouldn't be that bad. Plus I have plenty more to read until then. (My manga list is not quite accurate to what I've actually read. There's a few large ones I'm somewhere in the middle of, and others I read in the past I cannot remember the name of... :c )

There's a fairly big list of changes on the Cardcaptor wiki and stuff, but mainly the English dub had about 20 episodes cut out, and the order of many of them were mixed around from the original. When I was a kid I loved it then too, don't get me wrong! But now I definitely prefer the dub if only that it doesn't have any cut/altered content. (I would love if they ever revisited it and made a more accurate dub! <3)
