I hope they ask Ms. Ikeda both of our questions. :D My Utena sets (Also by Nozomi) had a Q/A with the director Ikuhara. They published the questions in a booklet that came with the last Utena set. (Wouldn't that be something? To have your name published on an official piece of Rose of Versailles merchandise? It's like your love of the show would be coming full circle!) Sadly, none of my questions got answered by Ikuhara on the Utena set but maybe this will be different. :crosses fingers:

Rose of Versailles got licensed!!!

My native language is spanish lol but I enjoy helping people that are learning :)
just got back from a vacation and trying to find something to watch, I remember I would watch one anime at the time and not let go, now my "currently watching" list just keeps getting longer and my "plan to watch" list is not as exciting.

Funny enough when I do find something I like it is something I absolutely love. what was the last anime you truly enjoyed?

You're so lucky to have all of that broadcasted. I've actually been wanting to see Candy Candy and Galaxy Express 999. Your friend has taste and did a good job to keep that VHS! It's such a catchy tune as well. But I love the music for the ending credits.

I was on some website called nihon reviews and it gave Rose of Versailles a 10/10 so I remembered it. Then one day I read a bit of the manga until someone on this website called Crunchyroll told me to watch the anime instead because she really liked it. So I did and I couldn't stop watching.

I think I'll start re-watching tomorrow evening!

Yeah the scanlation isn't complete though :( But I read some of it. You can buy the french ones off amazon. Unfortunately I can't read french. But my mum can very well :(

Yeah I'm studying law and it's just become so hard this year, I chose some really boring modules.

I thought she looked like a Greek goddess when she wore that dress. If I had all the money and time, I'd learn french and buy the manga. I'm going to re-watch Rose of Versailles soon.

How did you manage to watch Rose of Versaille 20 years ago? Did they air it on TV where you're from? (where are you from anyway? :P )

Identifying mutant fish sounds way more fun compared to what I'm doing. (which is writing an essay about the legal requirements of a charity)

Legend of the Galactic Heroes is amazing. But it's got a lot of dialogue and very slow paced in the beginning but it's really awesome after episode 17 imo. It's basically about the this democratic alliance (Free Planets Alliance) that has been in a 150 year war with the galactic empire. In the empire a poor noble named Reinhard, vows to take over the galaxy with his best friend since the King bought his sister as a concubine (sold by their own dad). He hates the oppressive way of the empire and seeks to make a new and better one. The Alliance has Yang, a military genius who you see rise through the ranks. He's reluctant to fight the war because he wants to be a historian so he joind the army for money. He strongly believes in democracy and takes on the empire - there's more to it than that but I don't wanna go on. It's a long show with a large amount of characters.

I think Reinhard might be a fan of Lady Oscar too since he ends up having the same hairstyle as her in season 3 lol :P
