I've been a manga and anime fan since the 90's. That being said, my list is incomplete and some of the scores might be a little weird too.
I also love MUSIC, Travelling and ultimately just having a good time.
I can understand romaji but only very few hiragana and katakana. I can speak Japanese relatively well and I've been to Japan once!
I watch every anime genre, although I have a tendency to like those with an intricate story or that convey strong emotions to the viewer. For short, I like anime/manga's that either make me think or laugh/cry.
The anime I'll see highly depends on the mood I'm in that day.
From watching anime I intend to :1) be entertained 2) think about mine and other people's life's circumstances and better understand the world around me 3) increase my japanese vocabulary

Just saw it at glance. Now I think I also need to update my list style, its so old and has some issues. I used to update more often, but since I started visit MAL less often I wasn't bored of the picture. There also possible to change not only profile img, but also profile name, because of this I really couldn't recognize some people. Thinking like who is that person in my friend list?
