I only play on worldwide servers, but I do keep up with new sets in the Japanese version! I like reading the stories, and feel that the 1-year lag worldwide has lets me plan on what gachas I'm spending (like how I saved for Christmas Hagumi and... didnt get her, or how I'm trying to save for Zombieland's collab now)

As for Japanese, I'd say, I can recall upto around a 100 different Kanjis, and I am also somewhat aware of the grammatical structures. So I thought maybe reading Manga is the right kind of challenge xD

Haha, I see. Yes, the Shounen Jump app is quite useful, though can you share me the site you use for reading in Japanese? I have been learning it for around one and a half year, I guess, its finally time to see if I can read manga (Something about the English translation often feels off, so I am planning on reading both the English and Japanese version back to back)

-Yes, honestly, I am not sure if I'll watch it either, but considering how big of a project this is, it'll give One Piece a major boost in popularity (You know how One Piece isn't all that popular outside of Japan, anime like Naruto, Aot, Death Note are exponentially more popular)

It's going to be 10 Episodes long, and the writer is a huge One Piece fanboy.

Though reading One Piece Volume by Volume must test your patience xD, I can hardly ever wait for the next chapter (honestly I started it mid February this year and I was already caught up to One Piece by mid March, its so good)

ALso, are you guys looking forward to the Netflix One Piece Live Action series? I looked into it a bit and apparently, the conversation between Matt Ovens and Oda Sensei went really well.

Yeah, it's a really good study of psychology and nihilism, so it can be heavy at times, but I wished they pushed the horror slightly more. That's just my opinion. Overall great show though.

Hey, how are you? I know how popular Monster is in the anime community and I think I share the same general consensus. I have some really minor problems with the show, mainly the pacing. There really are not many shows like Monster and it does a really great job of diving into these characters and tackling evil in the human heart. I love how the shows presents multiple facets of what it means to be a monster throughout the whole show. I haven't read or seen any of Naoki's work so it's hard for me to say it fits his style, but this is really good in my opinion. For me its not a 10, but somewhere in between an 8 or 9. This really is a thriller drama and in anime, this genre is extremely rare. A real hidden gem. Highly recommend it! It is a slow show, but the payoff is worth it in the end.
