Namine's Cafe Newsletter & Competition Announcement

Greetings, Namine's Cafe is holding our first annual Moe Girl Competition

The competition takes place in two phases. The first phase is where everyone gets to nominate moe girls for the competition. The nomination thread will open on Sunday (3/10/2014), and will last for 10 days, Each cafe member can nominate up to 5 girls, with a point systems as follows:

• #1 choice is worth 5 points
  
• #2 choice is worth 4 points
  
• #3 choice is worth 3 points
  
• #4 choice is worth 2 points
  
• #5 choice is worth 1 point
  

Unlike this, the Namine's Cafe Moe Competition will only be for Moe girls. Kawaii/ecchi girls will have their own competition later. To help ensure that only moe girls are nominated, we will have a panel of judges who will review the nominations, and if they unanimously determine that a nominee is not moe, then that specific nominee will be disqualified from the competition. To assist, here is a definition of moe, as stated by our judges:

• Moe is an affection for cute girls doing cute things that excludes sexual desire. Moe will either minimizes the sexualization of their characters, or won't even reference sex at all. Lolicon depicts children as objects of sexual gratification, literally a romantic and sexual desire focused on a child. That being said, there are some lolicon characters that are also depicted as moe.
  

If a nominee is disqualified, she will be removed from the member's list. The rest of the member's list will still be available for the competition, but backfilling a disqualified nominee will not be allowed.

After the nominations are over, the points for each girl are tallied. The top 32 are put into a bracket style competition, the one with the most points will be ranked #1, and will face the one ranked #32 with the least points (no random competition selection).

A new competition will start every two days, and each vote is open for 4 days. This means there Will be a total of 31 competitions to name a champion. The winning character will get a special place on the layout for her, a card edition just for her, and have the fame and recognition of being Namine's Cafe's firsy moe champion (LOL). If we get enough support for the moe competition, we may follow it up with other competitions.

Haktiva/Dangerous Village Full of Homicidal Humans(as beast and Kami like to call it)
Location : Middle of the map between the border of Amarante and Kaori's domains. There's no way I can count all those tiles.

Short description : A very old, well hidden village populated by about 150 Humans. The last remnants of a human kingdom that once posed a threat to the Mamono, now a shadow of it former glory. The perimeter is overgrown and full of traps and sentries, and a light fog from the mountais keeps it hidden from view from above most of the time. There are about fifteen wooden homes that surround a large hall, which serves as the capitol. Behind the gates are modest farm land, and in front of them are many heads on posts, most of them Mamono.

Lores (this is refer to which chapter in your story that mostly describe it, if there isn't then just refer to first time you visit it, can be more than one chapter) : We came upon a wooden wall lined with sentries, the heads of various Mamono stuck on spikes all over. I told Kaede not to look.
"Ah, hello Isaac", one of the guards said. He was dressed in an outfit similar to that of our captors, though he seemed to be getting on in years and chose to forgo the mask. "Fresh catch today?", he asked.
"They made camp on the border. We could smell their dinner on the wind", the leader, apparently called Isaac said. "Let us through"
"Sure thing, the older guard said.

The wooden gate opened with a loud groan and we were led in. Past the gate there were fields of crops as well as people tending to them, all human(except for the occasional ox or traditional beast of burden). We were lead to a fairly large settlement about a fourth the size of my old town. The building were mostly wood and brick, but again, the people were all human. We kept getting dirty looks as the men marched us through the street, but I had the feeling it was only going to get worse.

Were were lead into an especially large building that must have been the town hall or whatever. There were banner lining the walls inside, a green background with a white pair of hands holding a leaf of some kind.

Sadly some of the stories were totally lost even with this method so we really hope that you had saved it somewhere else.


If you haven't saved your story pls recover it as soon as possible as we don't know for how long this method will work.
Anyone that don't bother recovering and repost their story will be removed from the game later.
Ofc you can wait until the bbcode is back ;)
