My anime ratings are mainly based on my enjoyment.
My favorite genres are romance (preferably sad) and action.
I highly recommend any anime that has a 9 or 10 on my list.

"Pirates are evil? The Marines are righteous? These terms have always changed throughout the course of history! Kids who have never seen peace and kids who have never seen war have different values! Those who stand at the top determine what's wrong and what's right! This very place is neutral ground! Justice will prevail, you say? But of course it will! Whoever wins this war becomes justice!"
- Donquixote Doflamingo (One Piece)
"When do you think people die? When they are shot through the heart by the bullet of a pistol? No. When they are ravaged by an incurable disease? No. When they drink a soup made from a poisonous mushroom!? No! It’s when... they are forgotten."
- Dr. Hiriluk (One Piece)
"All men are not created equal. Some are born swifter afoot, some with greater beauty. Some are born into poverty and others born sick and feeble. Both in birth and in upbringing, in sheer scope of ability every human is inherently different. Yes, that is why people discriminate against one another, which is why there is struggle, competition, and the unfaltering mark of progress. Inequality is not wrong, equality is. What of the E.U. which made equality a right? Rabble politics by a popularity contest. The Chinese Federation with its equal distribution of wealth? A nation of lazy dullards. But not our beloved Britannia, we fight, we compete, evolution is continuous. Britannia alone moves forward, advancing steadily into the future. Even the death of my son, Clovis, demonstrates Britannia's unswerving commitment to progress. We will fight on, we shall struggle, compete, plunder and dominate, and in the end, the future shall be ours. All Hail Britannia!"
- Charles zi Britannia (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion)
"It‘s all the same if you‘re shattered by rocks. Everyone will die someday. Does that mean life is meaningless? Was there even any meaning in us being born? Would you say that to our fallen comrades? Their lives… Were they meaningless? No, they weren't! It‘s us who gives meaning to our comrade's lives! The brave fallen! The anguished fallen! The ones who will remember them… are us, the living! We die trusting the living who follow to find meaning in our lives! That is the sole method in which we can rebel against this cruel world! My soldiers, rage! My soldiers, scream! My soldiers, fight!"
- Erwin Smith (Attack on Titan)
"Everybody I have met... was all the same. Drinking, Women, Worshiping God, even the King, Dreams, Children, Power. Everyone had to be drunk on something to keep pushing on... Everyone was a slave to something."
- Kenny Ackerman (Attack on Titan)
"Youth is both a lie, and a form of evil. Those that glorify youth are only fooling themselves and those around them, and believe that their surroundings always affirm their actions. By using the word "youth", they twist and distort common sense and anything logical. For them, lies, secrets, sins and failures do nothing but add spice to their youth. If failure is the hallmark of being young like they say, then someone who's failed to make friends must be at the peak of his youth, right? However, I'm sure they would disagree. All of this is just their double standards at play and nothing else. Here's the bottom line: Fools that enjoy their youth should go kill themselves."
- Hachiman Hikigaya (Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru.)
"We hurt each other, and then we licked each other's wounds. Now both damaged, We seek out each other. If you die tomorrow, my life ends tomorrow too. If you live today, I can survive the present too. The story of our damaged selves starts now. Painted crimson with blood, dried black. The precious story of our scars we can't talk about. I'll never tell anyone."
"It isn't just "others". Not "others". It's my Family. I'll force my ideals on my family. And since they're family, I'll lie to them. I'll deceive them. I'll cause them trouble. I'll make them worry. I'll owe them things, things I'll never be able to repay. However, I think that's okay. If you say that being an impostor is evil, then I will shoulder the burden of that evil. If lying is a bad thing, then I'm fine being the bad person. I don't need them to like me. I'm fine with being the worst kind of person."
- Koyomi Araragi (Nisemonogatari)
“There are many types of monsters that scare me: Monsters who cause trouble without showing themselves, monsters who abduct children, monsters who devour dreams, monsters who suck blood... and then, monsters who tell nothing but lies. Lying monsters are a real nuisance: They are much more cunning than others. They pose as humans even though they have no understanding of the human heart; they eat even though they've never experienced hunger; they study even though they have no interest in academics; they seek friendship even though they do not know how to love. If I were to encounter such monsters, I would likely be eaten by them... because in truth, I am that monster.”
- L Lawliet (Death Note)
"Don't waste your breath, Davey. Not like you're ever coming back here anyway. Just yesterday a punk kid pushing XBDs for a quick buck. Go on. Become that legend. Or whatever the fuck you mercs do."
- Ripperdoc (Cyberpunk: Edgerunners)
And surprise! My favorite romance quotes:
"Who cares if we can’t see any sunshine? I want you more than any blue sky!"
- Hodaka Morishima (Weathering with You)
"Perhaps I've waited 17 years to be needed by you. Just like Cherry Blossoms wait for the spring!"
- Sakura Yamauchi (I Want to Eat Your Pancreas)
"Was I able to live inside someone’s heart? Was I able to live inside your heart? Do you think you’ll remember me at least a little? You’d better not hit "reset!" Don’t forget me, okay? That’s a promise, okay? I'm glad it’s you, after all. Will I reach you? I hope I can reach you."
- Kaori Miyazono (Your Lie in April)
"I love it when you stroke my hair. I feel as if we can understand each other through the contact between your hand and my hair. I love your voice. Just hearing you say one word makes my heart feel warmer. I love your eyes. Normally, they look stern, but when you’re being kind to someone, I love the way they soften. I love your fingers. For a boy, you have such lovely fingers. But when they clutch me, I know they are the strong, slender fingers of a man. I love the way you walk. When we walk together, I love the way you occasionally turn, to make sure I keep up. I love the way you look when you sleep. You look unguarded, like an infant, and your eyelashes are on the long side. When I touch your cheek, you calm down… And when I playfully touch your lips, you don’t even notice… And it makes my heart ache terribly. I love you."
The title says it all. The movie has outgrossed every anime that has ever been created. It's a deconstruction of ordinary Shonen and flips the standard on it's head of what makes an anime a masterpiece. Tanjiro is the most relatable main character in anime history (goes through hardships). If Demon Slayer isn't the best, then what is? Can anything hope to live up to this?

They're both really great so far, but I'd say I prefer Komi-san since watching the first episode! But Blue Period is equally as amazing so it's had to decide. How about you??

I'd say it definitely gets better! The last season was the best.
I found you through mutual friends!
