Well, I wouldn't say that. Boys are taken advantage of too, usually at younger ages unless you count prison... But, I hope you never find yourself in that situation. While I think it's something a person can endure and overcome, it isn't pleasant as you might imagine and some people have a much harder time than others getting over it and not letting it affect their view on their self or sexuality. I do certainly think it's something that is worse the younger you are, especially if raised in a very sheltered environment. When things catch you off guard emotionally is when they can really seep in too. But yeah, I don't want to go on about it. I do really hope your friend is okay and that they are able to overcome it and the self destructive thoughts that may come about from it. *bows*

I'm just happy it didn't cause any permanent damage, at least, to my knowledge, everything has been pretty healthy for me since then. Granted, it's hard finding people I feel compatible with face to face...but I think that's pretty normal. x3
