Read your Tokyo Ghoul review, if you want some nice anime, consider watching Death Note, Fullmetal Alchemist, Fate/Zero and Steins;Gate(personally don't think this one is that good, but lots of people like it). But honestly my personal opinion on the Tokyo Ghoul anime is that they slaughtered it, if you compare it to the manga.
