Not much to say here really, I'm a college student and I enjoy watching anime. I'm open to watch any genre as long as the series is good or I find it interesting, although I am a sucker for a good (or even not-so-good) romance. The only genre I don't watch is yaoi...that's just too much for me to handle.
Toonami back in the day was what first got me started with watching anime. It really sucks that nowadays there's only late night Adult Swim runs of anime, a lot more people would probably start watching or at least accept anime if it was on at a more accesible time, just look at what effect Dragonball Z had on the United States.
Sports are a pretty big thing to me. I love watching professional football and baseball, not as huge a fan of hockey and basketball.
I'm a bit on the high side when it comes to rating because, although I try to be subjective when I rate, ultimately, personal enjoyment contributes pretty greatly to how I rate a series. Also, I try to be pretty selective about what I watch so that I don't end up watching something I think I won't enjoy. In the end though anything with a 5+ rating is something I enjoyed or I thought had rather positive qualities. Anything below that is kind of on my shit list.
I'm always up for talking to new people or talking and discussing shows so send me a message or friend request, although I'd prefer the latter come after we've had at least one conversation.

From what you tell me their draft left a lot to be desired (like you said without a 1stRd pick it wasn't gonna look good anyway) but Brady's out the first 4 games (which I do get, since as marginal as it was, it is cheating and you gotta drop the hammer hard. It's one thing to kill some dogs or beat your kid/girl but you don't fuck up integrity the game lol) thanks to deflategate (which I don't really get... simply because NE was clearly better than us... was it really necessary to cheat?) Hell after they "reflated the balls?" in the 2nd half Brady was just as good as the first if not greater... but whatever lol less Brady is better for everyone not a patriots fan) so everyone, including us needs to take advantage.
More than anything else I think Peyton's goal is to own every passing record go down swinging. Denver should still have a strong record but its all but over. (Hell he was in trade talks if i'm not mistaken a while ago). No longer a 1st or even a 3rd rd pick in fantasy (same for brees lol)
We had a decent draft but picking up Phillip Dorsett in the first was a bit disturbing since it tells me we may not be keeping TY after this year. We didn't need a wideout already 3-4 deep and had other pressing needs at LB and CB. It's the Andrew Luck show though so whether we win or lose is gonna depend moreso on him than anything else.

WITH THAT BESS RECORD IN THE LEAGUE despite all the injuries (WAINOOOOOO he started off so well too) but Wacha decided to put the staff on his back and look like a Cy Young award winner. As well as we're playing I don't think we get a world series. Not without Waino. Injuries come and go but you need that 1-2 to go up against Kershaw (who decided to get his shit together) and Greinke (who should of been paid Kershaw's money). Still we're more than good enough to make some noise as is.
Losing Waino seemed to hurt my fantasy team more than the actual team. My staff suffered badly and I have yet to find a consistent replacement for him. btw THANK YOU FOR DROPPING GIANCARLO I have NO idea what compelled you to do that (lol maybe you felt sorry for me?). Although I guess the rest of your squad can go yard on demand his .265 and 25HR was expendable to you lol I might have lost that matchup but gained something much more valuable. I was seriously getting owned that week you had scored like 20+HR and I was down like 0-10 til I made some moves aside from Giancarlo and I made it a respectable 2-8. Well done lol you finally got one on me (I ain't giving you no shut out tho lol fuck that). Giancarlo went down (I got a positive win week out of him though before he dropped) and will be out another month and a half or so so maybe if I make the playoffs I can have him back for the home stretch. The Pirates are right behind the Cards too. Polanco cooled off mightily so I ended up dropping him but Marte and AJ (who seems to unintentionally be a staple on every single one of fantasy baseball leagues ever lol) have been doing great. More importantly McCutchen is coming around. Shame you play in our division. Any other division and you'd be leading it. I'm just waiting for September cause that's when it really gets fun.
lol I saw Lester's futility at the pickoff. I never at all bought into the guy. But hey the cubs are indeed over .500 (not much thanks to him) and while I'm happy for them I still don't forsee them making the playoffs. Not with PIT and WSH around for the last 2 spots.
Hopefully you didn't start Shoukugeki no Souma. It's not nearly as good as it starts. I ended up dropping it halfway through.
Since you already watched season 1 hit the 2nd season of Oregairu instead. That's probably the gem of the spring season. Hibike Euphonium is also very good. If you decide to skip spring and start summer go with Charlotte (JUN MAEDA IS A GENIUS I PROMISE) or Gangsta (I started the manga a while back this is going to be good). Or start something else more important on you're queue.
I did however actually start (and finish) watching Yamada-kun and the 7 witches. I remember you recommending the manga but I copped out and watched the anime instead since it was simulcasting and I had just finished Cardcaptor Sakura. It's pretty funny and has a lot of wtf wrenches thrown in to keep you on your toes. Unfortunately it was clearly rushed towards the end. I did put the manga on my PTR though.
I'm sure i'll watch Idolm@ster eventually. That 7's not encouraging though. I already know I'm gonna be at the Idol Project movie premiere since I already bought my tix (Sept. tho? really NIS? do better.) I'm sure it'll leak off a camrip before then like the Haruhi and K-ON! movies did. They also screened a concert the girls did in Japan back a year and a half ago at anime expo. Now that I didn't attend lol they trying to charge 15 to stream a concert that happened almost 2 ago...I know you wanna milk the franchise but they ain't gonna do me like that. Screen the movie (which you should have done since it just dropped) or better yet bring the girls LIVE to Nokia and I know I'll drop much more than 15 to see either. I bought the 3 imported concert BDs at their booth instead.
I'm so excited for YuruYuri. I've had a large void since I finished HidaSketch a while back and yuruyuri is one of the few series that really up there with that and K-ON! Plus:

The PS3 itself doesn't need to be imported since it's region free (as far as I know?).
But I would however need to import any games not localized which is why I want it. Also a friend of mine bought a ps4 with MLB The Show and it is absolutely amazing. Xbox doesnt get a baseball game this year and the 2k baseball games have sucked (stick to basketball 2k, and football/UFC -if EA gives those licenses back at some point lol). I ain't gonna fork over 400 for a ps4 but I can certainly do $170ish for a bc ps3 and a copy of the show. I'm waiting for a ~129 console price so I can buy it with the Show for <200 at some point.
That steam summer sale got me and I ended up buying a whole bunch of visual novels. I just finished Planetarian (which is currently 5 bucks) and I highly recommend it at that price. It's kinetic so there's no choices but the story is gripping af (vintage Key, Planetarian clearly paved the way for stuff like Little Buster's!) and I finished it in one sitting

Hell at AX day 2 this guy started talking to a 8.5/10 on the shuttle back to the hotel and was hitting on her. He was behind her in line I was in front of her so she saw me stay quiet and watch the whole thing go down. Needless to say she shut him down and ironically, when we got to the hotel we got off on the same floor in the elevator and she turned to me and said the thirst is real huh? I actually finally pulled (twice) on school idol festival a while ago.[spoiler]I also pulled on a card set I wanted but like you said I ended up with a SR from an old set. Luckily it was a cool Umi and I was happy. I decided to push my luck and pulled a cool Rin (which i was considerably less happy about). I also put some work in on a last score attack with the Pure Umi and got that. So I'm sitting at 187 loveca and am now more scared af to pull now lol part of me just wonders if im better off spending the loveca on events or score attacks where I know I'll get something I want instead of a random draw. I ended up passing the class with a B (I musta done well enough on the final I thought I bombed lol) and got an A in the lab. So I'm pretty much done. I'm absolutely planning on lounging around and taking the summer off and not going to school til fall (if I go back at all lol).
I just got back from anime expo (which is why I took so long to reply, the night before I wasn't even packed yet) and then I got a trip to Vegas to go see Krusher Kovalev fight at the Mandalay bay with my mom the last weekend of July. I made it pretty clear at work I'm there with an open door policy that has zero tolerance (basically fuck with me see what happens lol) so they're walking on eggshells with me and if they don't give me my time off requests and let me run shit with impunity I'm just gonna quit, which they don't want since we've had at least 4 people quit and [1 got fired (yesterday)] in the last 3 months and the building is struggling with shitty noobs. I got plenty of savings to hold me down while I find a real job and 2AS is surely good for a random IT job paying 35k+/yr. Unfortunately the fire just isn't there anymore to go back to school on my own. Since i've been stuck paying for school it would certainly help entice me if my employer foot the bill but if they don't I'm ngl it's gonna be hard for it to come from me... now the real question is how do I break it to my mom lol she doesn't really know yet...so that should be fun for me. Hopefully you're having as relaxing a summer as I am.

Peyton will come back simply because he wants every passing record. I know he want's another shot at a championship (Luck and Brady ain't gonna be having that though) cause he sure as hell doesn't wanna go out with an L against his old team. It's gonna be hard for him as his roster is not going to be nearly as stacked as it was last year (Julius Thomas is gone and two of his best linemen are gone, Moore and Knighton on the defensive side are heavy blows too) but still even if he's old and no longer able to operate at 100% he's Peyton and 70% Peyton is still better than 90-95% of other NFL QBs. I still expect a solid year out of the guy... but he's no longer that first round fantasy pick material lol then again I could be wrong but I've watched him for almost 20 years and after last year, he's just not the same...yea he played hurt the last month of the season but that's just father time knocking on that door...
I was stunned when Rex took the Bills job. I expected him to go to Atlanta, silly me I thought he was much better suited for that job since the offense was pretty much set, can operate without supervision and he could work on the defense that needed work (which is his specialty)... but taking the buffalo job was pretty much like well, copping out and taking another Jets job. Not to say you're as bad as the Jets but you share the same problems they had...just to a lesser extent. Shady is a huge pickup (this makes Watkins so much more dangerous) but Cassel is absolutely NOT the answer and all that does is stifle EJ especially if you're gonna make him compete again (for the job that was handed to him in the first place) after benching him for Orton. They gotta either see what they have in the kid or move on and look for a legitimate replacement because these stopgap QBs aren't really helping anybody. Y'all were probably better off tanking as you mentioned and trying to take a swing at Jameis or Mariotta (not that I'm impressed by either one but they're the best that's out there)....or how about a Michael Vick on a 3 year deal with a team option for the 3rd...

This semester has been pretty light so far so I pushed to do 17 or so simuls.
Saekano, Kuroko s3 and Death Parade are the gems of the season but Absolute Duo's pretty good too and Shirobako picked up heavily in the last bit.
Mirai Nikki got a 9 from me Yuno is just too awesome. I wish I could find a girl just like her. I have so much more respect for women who are willing to fight on the front lines instead of just cower and play the princess role.... The jealousy wouldn't even bother me lol she probly just needs someone who can be strong so she wouldn't feel the need to be overprotective. Sadly, Yukki was a bitch who didn't deserve her lol I'd be fighting with her not cowering under a table while she does all the work...
Idolm@ster is on my PTW but I just know I'm gonna be let down. The idol project spoiled us badly with constant, absolute, straight fire. The bar was just set too high. So far so good (sort of) but I got stuck with a teacher from Zimbahbweh or Kenya or Nairobi or some shit (lol not that i'm racist, hell most of my friends are black) and his accent is so powerful I can't understand a damn thing he says lmao I have an A+ in the lab (because it involves actually doing things and application) and a C (maybe a C+) in the lecture portion (because it involves listening and comprehension, how the fuck am I supposed to listen and comprehend if I can't understand tg for the book lol) and from what I understand the lab and lecture grades are independent of each other and will show up separately on my transcript. Hopefully I get passing grades and can take my diplomas and look for a real job. That would certainly open up my free time... I don't envy your gf though. My hat goes off to all life science majors cause that shit is hard. Then again I guess it should be hard, if you're gonna be a doctor or anything related to medical you should know your shit inside and out. It's just a shame intro classes are as hard for the average shmoe trying to complete their GE and pass by... and I didn't even think of having the company I work for front the money for my BS... that's certainly intriguing and it may help me reconsider whether I wanna go back or not. I made it a point to be (and stay) completely debt free throughout my life so far (I've paid for both school and my car completely myself) and since I still live at home I've put away a solid savings for myself on top of that (not having a girlfriend also helps, since I also found women to be a significant source of income sucking hahahah).

I desperately, desperately need a cool SR or better card and most times there's only 1 cool SR card outta 3. I ideally wanna pull when 2/3 of the SRs are either soldier game girls or cool cards who the FUCK am I kidding i'm just scared lol. Good to know it wasn't just me experiencing the lag though. Makes me feel better although it's bad for you (and everyone else)though. It's certainly frustrating to be working through a song well and end up forcefully mistimed due to lag... one of the reasons I bailed to PAD... there's no worries like that there and the game actually operates the same kind of way (level/skill up characters, points for more characters/evo materials from playing with friends special points for better characters from level completions), except without the music element. I do recommend it if you're looking for something new.
I still haven't gotten the headset mostly because I'm looking for one compatible for the 360 and Xbone... and you'd be surprised how hard that is without having to drop an extra 25 on top of the headset for an adapter to make the set work for the one. I got my slickdeals app looking for me so I'm sure I'll come up with something soon... I'm also on the lookout for a ps3 since prices have apparently spiked (you can get a used one on cowboom for about a 100 bucks) and I decided I wanted an import machine to play some of the jfighting games like dengeki bunk fighting climax and jshmups (I know, as if I need more to backlog lol). I'd like to ideally come up with both (or at least just the headset) before Anime Expo.
I actually ended up traveling to Zacatecas, Mexico. I have some family down there and you're right, the weather is pretty much the same except its slightly higher elevation so it snows sometimes. It didn't snow while I was down there it was just kind of cold. I had a decent time though but it wasn't really anything special. Hopefully you have a good semester too.... I toldja I'd be more timely next time hahaha

I always wished they'd take the team that just missed the playoffs in the AFC and move them over to the NFC to take that spot, then re-adjust the standings to have the team with the next best record to host that WC game. I think that would be fair. Sadly, i'm not Roger Goddell lol
I actually think we got a pretty good shot at beating the Broncos. Peyton has not been Peyton (trust me when I say this, the motherfucker cost me the MAL league 1 championship this year lol) his last few weeks haven't been up to his standards and history says the week off in the playoffs only puts more rust on him. Still it's in Denver so they should be favored but a big game by Luck and TY should be enough to squeak out a W. We have NO defense or run game though so it's gonna be all on Luck to will us to the promised land. I actually wouldn't have it any other way. Even if we win Brady will still show us the door >_>

You gotta let him go through the growing pains I get you felt Orton would give you a better shot at winning, he's a vet who's been around and has loads of experience... but that's a major ego blow to someone trying to find his way and supposedly got handed the keys to the franchise. Still you finished 9-7 which is certainly an improvement that almost got you in the playoffs but we'll hafta see if EJ bounces back...or do you go looking elsewhere? Your pick won't be high enough for a Mariotta or a famous Jameis.
Sidenote: Sammy Watkins is for real whether it's EJ or somebody else hopefully you get that man a legitimate QB. It would be a massive waste not to (c)Fitzgerald or Andre Johnson.
I was left heartbroken during the MLB playoffs. I wouldn't have pulled Waino in game 5 up by 1 in the 7th. I know he was tired, (and he was pitching on short rest with elbow tendinitis he'd had since the last week of the regular season which is why he didn't start the last week of the season, AND he ended up having surgery a few weeks ago to clean out said mess in his arm) but he was our best chance to win as our bullpen decided to suck and become unreliable. I get why he was pulled (we were probably gonna lose anyway since yaddy was hurt too and so our bats suffered) but I didn't wanna go out 1-4. Still most the team is in intact and moving Carlos Martinez to start should bolster our rotation. The Pirates are young they'll only get better and the playoff experience will be beneficial. We'll be back next year (it's not like we're cub fans lol we really will be back next year) I'm not worried about it. At least the Dodgers didn't win lol
Thanks for the congrats! I had a hell of a finals with Bostonblows. The final week basically turned into an arms race to just boost our stats I was at I think 13/14 of the allowed acquisitions and he was about the same. Though we were pretty close in R, HR, and K's it really came down to me winning the AVG category by .0005 of a point. I'll never forget it because it was about as close as it could get lol At least you didn't finish in last though. I'll expect a much better showing from you this upcoming season. I struggled to keep up on my simuls too. My school load picked up halfway through the semester and I was consistently a episode or two behind.
I did end up catching up afterwards (although updating my MAL was a BITCH lol never again will I go that long without logging in. I seriously had 50+ update entries...so annoying lol
That new season of Fate/Stay night is FIRE. ufotable showed up and it seriously looked like a movie every week. Plus it helps that Rin is a much better main character than Shirou. Definitely a highlight of the fall season along with Denki-gai no Honya-san. Do not watch Sword Art Online 2. While the first half is pretty good the second half absolutely sucks. I'd rather watch bleach filler. The series structures itself the same way season one did where it starts out strong, then takes a shit. Do not waste your time lol there's plenty you got on deck that's time much better spent. I still don't know what I'm gonna pick up this winter season for that matter.
I ended up getting an XBOX ONE on black friday using the "bonus points" program we have at work.
I used walmart gift cards I got exchanging the points and then dropped about 180 out of pocket for a new one (sans kinect, i don't need or have room for that shit lol) w/the master chief collection, watch dogs, nba 2k15 (which is getting most of my love), sunset overdrive, and a extra controller. Normally that money would be used at rightstuf over the holidays but:
1. Though I can't justify a new console at the current prices I can if its fully loaded at <200 and
2. Rightstuf was not very impressive this year. I'll expect a better showing next year as I've noticed Sentai titles which dropped that year are ~50% off while titles at least 2 years old are at least 60% off.
I really only ended up with the Cowboy Bebop Amazon Limited Edition and I just backed the Clannad VN on Kickstarter.
So that's been getting most of my gaming attention (if any available) though I'm certainly open to KO'ing you with B-HOP in some fight night lol
(they really need to drop a new FN, the rosters are grossly outdated and don't include many newer boxers like Gennady Golovkin, Amir Kahn, JMM, Devon Alexander or Yoshihiro Kamegai) My headset broke though so I need to start looking into a new one then to make this happen hahaha
I only haven't played idolproject because for whatever reason the game sometimes lags a bit during events where they add the special icons to collect during songs and frustrates me when I time the hit correctly but end up missing it due to the lag (I have an s4 if GTA San Andreas plays without lag on it, there's no excuse for this game). Plus my cool team sucks (I lack cool SR's or UR's for that matter lol) though my Smile and Pure teams are pretty good the only UR's I have are my smile Honoka which I got from buying the premium ED of the BD's and the pure Kotori they gave out a few weeks ago. I'm holding on to 123 non-paid-for loveca and plan to splurge for 2-3 10w/guaranteed SR scouts when they drop a Cool Maki/Eli/Umi SR/UR. I still log in everyday for my bonus and play a song here or there (I like the head to head match events) but I don't go nearly as hard as when it dropped. You on the other hand, are rank 99999999999, I can't compete with that hahaha

I'm damn sure not taking chemistry though lol fuck that. I'm almost considering taking my two AS degrees when I'm done and just finding a job. I'm getting tired of school at least as I know it now. If I can find a decent/good job I'd be much more open to transferring to a university and doing part time or less semesters. Yea it would take longer but it would be school on MY terms instead of taking 12-16 unit terms at a time which is exhausting. Not to mention you don't get much of a life after you account for work when you're not at school (lucky you have a girlfriend. I haven't had one in 3 years hell the last one got mad cause I didn't have enough time for her lol). We'll see how I feel after I finish up what I got on my plate now but that's how I'm feeling now.
Shortly after the fall semester ended I ended up going with my mom to Mexico again to visit my folks for the holidays (and by shortly after I mean like 3 days after lol) so I didn't get to log on to MAL until like last week which is why I took so long. Seems like something always comes up where we take a while to get back. I'm sure we'll get to how it was eventually hahahah
That NFC is looking tougher and tougher every year. I'm not gonna give it to Seattle to repeat either but they've got a solid chance to do so. We'll see how long they can keep the band together. The Broncos will pwn the regular season then probably flame out at some point in the playoffs so I also expect them to be around. I expect your offense to be much more explosive now that EJ is in his 2nd year with the speedsters on the outside (I have a real good feeling about Fred Jackson this year I think it's cause I heard an interview of his on the Jim Rome show and he seemed seriously focused) but your defense will have to show up and losing Byrd does not help. I am seriously counting down the days to week 1. This is the year we make serious noise and Luck puts himself in the running for MVP. I haven't felt this good about our roster since 2011 when we last made it to the superbowl. It doesn't even have to be Trent who shows up. If either he or Bradshaw show up we will be special on offense. I like my odds if we just need 1 outta 2. Losing Mathis for his "medical" suspension (I do buy his excuse since his wife is actually pregnant lol but it is what it is) will hurt but the way I look at it it's just 3 games he can rest up and not risk injury in. We'll need him for the playoffs.
Apart from a couple bad games (a few of which Waino coulda gotten another run or two from the offense) he should be 18-4. As solid as his season has been I don't think he's taking the cy young from Kershaw.

I was actually present for the entirety of our draft. I was quite proud of it when I was done (damn you for stealing Waino from me 3-4 picks earlier, which promptly forced me to reach for Wacha who ends up on the DL lol) and even after some tweaking I'm pretty happy with the results I've gotten. But wtf is going on with you??? I did not expect to see you almost 50 games back after the year you had last year. I dunno if it was a bad draft or if players are just not showing up, but i'm quite disappointed. Although my team is losing steam too (i dropped first place last week) I expected a lot more outta you lol

I've been fairly lazy when it comes to manga lately. That time has actually been spent gaming (I know, I know lol). I bought WWE2k14 for multiplayer purposes when my friends come over and ended up getting addicted myself although I stopped watching wrestling myself the game itself is crazy fun. Fight Night Champion also went on sale last week for 4 bucks on marketplace so I been on that this week and I absolutely love it despite getting my ass handed to my by the computer (that difficulty curve tho lol). I gotta get off the sticks and go show Elsie some love. I do miss her.
Throw the Madoka movies on your PTW list. They're also pretty good (although the first two are just kind of summaries the third one is especially great and is pretty much all new material). I was fortunate enough to catch them on the big screen (the first 2 at the downtown independent and the third at the Egyptian Cinematheque in Hollywood) and I'll say this series was meant for a big screen (especially the third one, I wont spoil but you get a awesome fight scene). I thought Date a Live was pretty pedestrian myself as well. It was enjoyable here and there (I was rather fond of Origami myself) but pretty average overall. I did not get what the fuss was about and season 2 is just more of the same, if that sways you any into whether you planned on watching that or not.
I see you're also watching Clannad. You're in for a treat there when you reach the After Story and watch the OVAs. Some of Key's best work. #TeamKyou

I actually don't know why I have to take a bio class to be CIS/CS. Its a nonsense requirement for transfer to Cal Poly Pomona. Although I've also been considering UC Riverside. Regardless I do need some sort of science with a lab (bio, chemistry, geology, etc) for an AS so I'm gonna hafta suck it up and take a science class eventually. I do like to think I'm fairly computer savvy lol

The Slice of Life Club will be hosting a Cute Competition for the next seven weeks. It's pretty much going to be the same thing as our Moe Competition, except for the fact that characters from overly popular series weren't allowed in the contest (since they always win). Hopefully you didn't start Shoukugeki no Souma. It's not nearly as good as it starts. I ended up dropping it halfway through.
The PS3 itself doesn't need to be imported since it's region free (as far as I know?).
I actually finally pulled (twice) on school idol festival a while ago.[spoiler]I also pulled on a card set I wanted but like you said I ended up with a SR from an old set. Luckily it was a cool Umi and I was happy. I decided to push my luck and pulled a cool Rin (which i was considerably less happy about). I also put some work in on a last score attack with the Pure Umi and got that. So I'm sitting at 187 loveca and am now more scared af to pull now lol part of me just wonders if im better off spending the loveca on events or score attacks where I know I'll get something I want instead of a random draw. I actually gained some ground on your rank too (I'm now 64) and was pretty proud until I saw you were 84 and your last login was 100+ days ago... and I was promptly brought down to Earth lol Also during that last score match

I ended up passing the class with a B (I musta done well enough on the final I thought I bombed lol) and got an A in the lab. So I'm pretty much done. I'm absolutely planning on lounging around and taking the summer off and not going to school til fall (if I go back at all lol).
This semester has been pretty light so far so I pushed to do 17 or so simuls.
I ended up taking Geography.
Admittedly I still haven't pulled the now 186 loveca.[spoiler]I'm just scared af to pull at the wrong time. I desperately, desperately need a cool SR or better card and most times there's only 1 cool SR card outta 3. I ideally wanna pull when 2/3 of the SRs are either soldier game girls or cool cards who the FUCK am I kidding i'm just scared lol. Good to know it wasn't just me experiencing the lag though. Makes me feel better although it's bad for you (and everyone else)though. It's certainly frustrating to be working through a song well and end up forcefully mistimed due to lag... one of the reasons I bailed to PAD... there's no worries like that there and the game actually operates the same kind of way (level/skill up characters, points for more characters/evo materials from playing with friends special points for better characters from level completions), except without the music element. I do recommend it if you're looking for something new.
I still haven't gotten the headset mostly because I'm looking for one compatible for the 360 and Xbone... and you'd be surprised how hard that is without having to drop an extra 25 on top of the headset for an adapter to make the set work for the one. I got my slickdeals app looking for me so I'm sure I'll come up with something soon... I'm also on the lookout for a ps3 since prices have apparently spiked (you can get a used one on cowboom for about a 100 bucks) and I decided I wanted an import machine to play some of the jfighting games like dengeki bunk fighting climax and jshmups (I know, as if I need more to backlog lol). I'd like to ideally come up with both (or at least just the headset) before Anime Expo.
I actually ended up traveling to Zacatecas, Mexico. I have some family down there and you're right, the weather is pretty much the same except its slightly higher elevation so it snows sometimes. It didn't snow while I was down there it was just kind of cold. I had a decent time though but it wasn't really anything special. Hopefully you have a good semester too.... I toldja I'd be more timely next time hahaha
