It makes me very happy to hear that you've been enjoying Shirobako! To this day it's probably my favorite SoL, it just reaffirms so much about what I love about anime, and the girls themselves are also very well fleshed out and I like how each of them has aspirations in a different aspect in the industry. There are also lots of fun supporting cast members.
I finished Girls' Last Tour a while ago as well as Yuru Camp and I loved them both so I'm glad that you liked Shirobako because it'd be my way of repaying you for these fantastic recommendations!

I'm halfway through Girls' Last Tour and I'm absolutely loving it already! There's a magic about it that you don't see very often! The visuals of the multi-layered ruined cityscape are spectacular and the atmosphere is just fantastic. I love the slow pace and how introspective it is. It makes you think about the little things in life that you often take for granted. Depressing post-apocalyptic stories are dime a dozen, but those that are life-affirming are incredibly rare. Even in a wasteland such as this, you can still find the beauty in it. Characters like the explorer and the pilot also show that you can find meaning in life for yourself.
I'll admit I was initially put off by the overly moeblob character designs but by the end of the 2nd episode I had gotten used to them and they kind of fit, the contrast between the huge desolate vistas and the two girls works somehow. Poor Chi having to do all the work herself though... Yuu's a bit of a dum-dum to say the least.
Thank you so much for recommending this to me, it would've completely slipped my radar otherwise. I can't wait to find the time to finish it but I'm also dreading it at the same time since it'll be over already.

Eupho's getting another season?! No, I did not know but that's pretty much the best anime-related news I've heard in a while! I'm guessing it'll cover their third year? Actually, now that we're on the subject, I just noticed that you recently watched "Chikai no Finale"... is that a proper sequel to the first 2 seasons or is it just a recap? Because I remember seeing a movie announcement for Eupho a while back but I lost interest once it turned out to be a recap/retelling, but this one seems different?
As for Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, crude humor is not an issue for me, however I've steered clear of the show in the past because I don't like the chibi artstyle and I don't like monster girls. I might end up watching it regardless though due to KyoAni withdrawal.

I did notice that you have quite a fondness for Girls' Last Tour (or "The End Girl Trip" apparently, that sounds pretty clunky) and now that you mentioned what it's about, I can't help but be intrigued. I'm surprised I haven't heard of it before! Will definitely be trying that out in the future.
The other two anime I had definitely heard about before. I've been meaning to try Mushishi but I haven't gotten around to it, I'm told that it's quite similar to Hotarubi/Natsume Yuujinchou in tone which is good IMO. As for Yuru Camp, I only recently realized it's something different than Yuru Yuri... silly old me just hears "Yuru" and ignores everything that comes after! XD
Also yes, I very much adore SoL, it's my favorite genre. Back when I started watching anime for the first time, ~75% of the anime that I was watching were SoL, and most of it was KyoAni stuff. Nobody quite does SoL as good as they do I think, which is why I'm pretty bummed out that they haven't done something in the same vein as Sound Euphonium/Tamako Market/Lucky Star/Haruhi in a while. I think Violet Evergarden has amazing animation but it's a tad melodramatic and unrealistic for my taste. But of course I understand that they're still struggling with the aftermath of what happened...

Exceptionally good taste sir. Might I recommend Shirobako? From what I'm seeing here, you're a SoL enjoyer, and Shirobako is a SoL that's also basically an anime about making anime. It's got a little bit of drama here and there but on the whole it's quite light-hearted.

Cool, just re watching mardock scramble movies but having too much work these days so just falling sleep not long after starting anything to watch. Yeah I too binge watch after the season gets finished and especially looking forward to spyxfamily as everybody is praising it so much. Working is awesome, loved the characters and am only left with the last movie. Tc!
