The timelines are collapsing. Pretty sure both season will merge together and create the first anime with a mean score of 20.0. The original S01 was like 7,50/10 till episode 9 or 11 or whenever THAT thing happens. If 0 follows its footsteps, should hit 13,37 by the end even if no merge. But no, I didn't. Will marathon all of it one day before the finale airs like I do these days.

It's pretty amazing how such brutal series managed to bring so much joy with its resolution. I think that was part of the reason why S01 second cour didn't appeal to me. It was lacking the sister trio.

Mahoutsukai Yome's first 17 episodes are quite pleasant experience. Hold so much beauty and comfy. The last episodes are a quality drop, but I'd still call it a 6/10 series. You can basically tell based to episode 1 whether you like it or not.

After the Rain was a rarity romance. So mature and realistic. You can pretty much see from every scene that everyone who was in the making of it treasures the series. It comes with so much detail and love. After ep 8 it is quite lost tho. It has an original open ending so reading the manga when it's translated is quite the necessity. It's quite easy to forgive this since it's clearly about the trip and not about the destination. 6/10 as well.

Rest was average at best. Sorayori might be more appealing to you than it was for me. Still can't say if you'd like those characters. It had one of the best scenes from this season for sure,

One average series I quite enjoyed was Karakai Jouzu. Such cute little desk neighbor rom-com. Watching the voice actor do this also made me appreciate the series more. Not sure how japs can look so goddamn happy in it, just makes me have a constant smile,

It hit me hard and it hit me deep. Hina's hardships were all too real. It came with quite a few scenes and that burned in my very soul. Like the mental breakdown, and the stomach aches, but also the grandpa's speech. I will be rewatching both seasons after Winter 18 concludes. Meaning Violet Evergarden, and Garo Vanishing Line which are the only ones I have left.

S01 was 5/10 for me. I didn't especially enjoy the 2nd cour even thought first one was good. I'd rate S02 with an 8.

Update. Rewatched Kimi no Na wa bluray. Cared about the characters a bit better, but overall my opinion stayed the same.

I'm always on. Haven't been playing much, just watching animu atm. Hitting that 24 episodes every day.

Not liking the characters can be a pro too. For example I am re-watching Honey and Clover right now for the cuteness. If I cared about the characters I'd also be hit by the drama. This way it just cleanses my soul from Nana which hit me too hard.

Am kinda doing the same hiatus thingy with mango. Only series I have read the past 2+ years were Bleach which I just to finish and now that Nana after the animu was incomplete.

I came back just because I want to keep a better track of things that I saw. IMDb is not satisfying for that matter. Custom lists are pleasant for movies, but it's just missing too much animu and the recent site updates have been garbage. I don't plan to take part in MAL community in any form. During my absence mods deleted bunch of other reviews I wrote years ago because abusive and whatever bs reasons. Tags I removed because I thought of adding back my ratings and accessing the list was easier when it was shorter but then I thought fuck it imma not add shit, just hang on the initial reason why I came back in the first place.

I never forgot the promise! Saw it on bd release day, but you weren't on on Steam. Every time after that I've checked and you always offline. I did post a cute or was it comfy pic of Holo just in case.

I liked about everything else in that movie except the characters. Couldn't care about them which made it hard to care about their problems and feels either. It was pretty much just about the direction to me since the story had nothing impressive going on either. For similar series I prefer Kokoro Connect and Hourou Musuko over it. Even other movies of similar nature such as Koe no Katachi and Sakasama no Patema I liked better. I'd also recommend you to try Kokoro ga Sakebitagatterunda if you haven't already.

In the end Kimi no na wa was 5/10 experience for me. Good but not better than 50% of all the other stuff I have seen.
