so far i've only logged a fraction of the anime and manga i've seen and read, so i'm capable of discussing lots of stuff that isn't marked completed on my list! don't be afraid to say hi!
How are you doing this November? I've been practicing Japanese since last summer and I can't wait to master jōyō kanji as I slowly move on to Silent Möbius QD. Yes, I'm slowly picking up all 1,945 Chinese characters.
Yamato period Japan used 60,000 or 20x more Chinese characters than modern China.
Hello, thank you for accepting my request. It's nice to see someone else who likes the classics. Is Minky Momo something you'd recommend I watch? I've definitely been slacking on 80s TV Anime.
By the way, I find Calculus III interesting and I could have made it this far if it hadn't been for the Inkjoys. That is, vectors and gradients.
I kind wish that I could take notes with Zebra pens like the Surari or Z-Grip Flight.
As for manga, I also intend to read Digimon V-Tamers after Linebarrels of Iron. What I do know about V-Tamers is that it's a completely different story to the Toei shows.
A friend of mine on DeviantArt is a Gundam fan also. She got into the franchise since Gundam SEED's western debut. Yes, she watched all the UC stuff too.
Thanks to that woman with an Asian fiancé, I've decided to read Sorcerer Hunters this Year of the Rabbit. She also told me that the manga had very interesting characters that never appeared in the old Xebec adaptation.
I might speak fluent Japanese like her someday, but first, I got unfinished business with Calculus III.
Yeeeah, it's also difficult to tell for me because of how much I love the original and subconsciously compare the two. Still though, I really do think it's just too loud and needs to shut the fuck up at times lol.
I certainly hope it gets better, but so far so meh unfortunately. The original will always have a special place for me and for you too, it seems ;)
I finished reading Believers, it was a good experience.
I just found that the story became too expository at the end,
which affected the quality of the narrative, in my opinion.
In case you haven't read it I recommend Kurosagi Shitai Takuhaibin, I think you might like it!
I have no ties to the administration, but I know some tricks for getting this kind of information. In the case of pending mangas or works not contemplated for MAL, I use this tool (https://sean.fish/mal_unapproved/manga) to get these answers.
Unfortunately I don't own any of her works at the moment, there are few horror manga released here and most are by Junji Ito (although once in a while he releases something totally out of the curve like Dementia 21). I also believe this to a certain extent, but it could also be some other manga but obscure with a more Shuten Douji approach (the original one by Go Nagai).
I have never made a list inserting hentais so I can't comment on this subject, but I believe it would be possible to make a light version without them and put a link to the version with +18 works (like in certain animes).
In reality they would be manga created with a direct advertisement for the cult, but I will read the one that was recommended!
I saw your Kanako stack and decided to help, currently I believe Yuurei-Dan isn't on the moderators' radar,
however, Ushiro already has a page just waiting for an approval (https://myanimelist.net/manga/150319/Ushiro_no_Hyakutarou).
About the vampire one I have the slight impression that it is the Vampire Hunter D novel, but I can't say for sure because
that would be the most obvious answer and probably would have been pointed out at the time!
About the disturbing iceberg, besides adding some mangas made by cults like Happy Science (if they exist in MAL),
I belive that Shintarou Kago and Usamaru Furuya need more presence on this list.
In the case of Usamaru, it would be more interesting to add Innocents Shounen Juujigun instead of Litchi☆Hikari Club
Thank you, you also have great taste! I don't read Japanese. I usually read in Italian, English and French and there's a huge amount of out-of-print vintage, underground or less known manga published both here in Italy or in France. I keep buying original Japanese volumes that I can't properly read of course, but I enjoy the art.
