Ahh I think we practice the same thing, although it somewhat shames me to bring this up since we were talking about ACTUAL artists, for a majority of 2015 I've been really finding myself drawn to the sound of ignorant trap rap music lol For reasons I can't explain I find myself entertained by artists like Future, Young Thug, Travis Scott, Lil Uzi Vert and much more. But I'm pretty open about my musical taste so I guess it doesn't bother me all that much lol

This Utopia song gives me a first wave British invasion vibe.... hmmmm, interesting.

If you only care of eyecandy I'm sure Concrete will scratch that itch, especially if you like comic books and pop art. It's pretty cool in that sense and since you mentioned Jojo, it shares the same kind of comic book aesthetic as it does. And yea Jojo can be seen as a result from Superhero as well as Japan's resurgence of older retro titles. I mean when you think about it there has been a huge 2nd coming of retro anime being adapted; Parasyte, Sailor Moon, Ushio to Tora, Hunter x Hunter, just to name a few.

Yeah I say give Bowie a shot, any music enthusiast fill find something of value with his work. He's a mainstream artist but isn't afraid to delve into experimental territory, I think the Blackstar song alone can attest to that. Todd who now? No I haven't unfortunately. What of his should I have on my radar?

I'll check it out on youtube then. I'm not always in the mood for that kind of music but when I am I tend to dig deep into it. With Bowie releasing his album in a few days I'm sure I would have the need to scratch that itch again very soon.

Recently I've been replaying Bravely Default and waiting for Bravely Second.
You can check out the Fire Emblem saga if you want some tactical RPGs. I haven't played them to be honest.
And from time to time, I spend some time shiny hunting on Pokkemon X and ORAS. :D

Haha Bowie is a true artist. The man has been pioneering futuristic music his entire career, I think people don't give him enough credit, even at his ripe old age he's making amazing stuff like this, that's a testament to his prowess as an artist. Also the dance is hilarious with the while and black dude, but at the same time it's creepy (in a good way). Just love the video. Very few songs and videos sync up this well.

I really like this fusion, the vocals work off the muffled instruments really nicely. I like songs that can layer things like this. I don't need to know what they're saying but it works :)

I'm readyy digging the dream pop jazz fushion sound of Hotel New Tokyo, I might have to check out their stuff, thanks a lot man.. and as far as new music is concern, definitely checkout Bowie's new single. It's the most warped and occult thing he's released since the Heathen album. great stuff:

Thank you, I'm glad that my ramblings in review format was something beneficial to you. I haven't read the webcomic or manga but from the panels of it I did see I think the anime did a solid job capturing the familiar spirit of what the creator was aiming for. And yes I agree, it does have it's issues but does enough to stay ahead of the pack, honestly I think it worked so well because you can tell the people behind it actually cared about the project. This is made more evident when you look back at the work the studio did just before this one, Overlord, which not only looked vastly inferior in terms of quality (that dreaded CGI) but also it lacked charm and identity as well. It felt like it was made to simply generate funds for their next project.

Haha Yeah I think we're both complacent in that regard. I just can't bring myself to draw anything. It's like the writer's block problem I have writing reviews where I can go back to back with content and then spend months being inactive. If you have any music or artist you'd like to suggest just send them my way, I'm always seeking out new artists for my playlist. Variety is the spice of life after all. Also thanks for stopping by!

They are not based on anything. The higher the more I think it succeeded on something. 1-9s don't do anything that matters in life. I think 10s are special and make me happy when I think about them. All of them are 0s, but some are less 0s. No work will ever be infinity, sadly.

jk, I only like Calvin and Hobbes and The way I am. The rest is kinda filler. I don't care for art, and I wouldn't rate but I need something to escape on so I use numbers.
