From what I watched, your subs are really nice, and my English isn't perfect either. And yes, even if your subs were bad quality (they're absolutely not), it would still be better than nothing. I watched Haha wo Tazunete Sanzenri (another WMT) with the worst subs I ever saw, and it didn't subtract my enjoyment at all, I still loved it a lot.
I've watched Romeo as well, but to be honest, I didn't enjoy it that much, because when I watch WMT I expect realism, but everything is so convenient and a lot of stuff that happens feels unnatural. Also, the focus of this one is action instead, so much that they forgot to develop better some characters, relationships and situations. Character-wise, the ones that appear most are well-developed, but others are completely forgettable due to how little development they're given, and the villains are really two-dimensional. Alfredo and Bianca's parents personality and schemes are so cliché I almost forgot I was watching a WMT. Romeo really is the most accessible WMT, to the point it doesn’t feels much like one to me. But even though what I said may seem too harsh, I enjoyed some moments of the series, it just certainly isn’t one of my favorites.
About the money question, last year I paid for someone to sub the entire Makiba no Shoujo Katri series, since I and other people wanted to watch it and it had been subbed only up to episode 16. Then, this year, I asked the members of the WMT club if they would be willing to help me with money to pay the same guy who subbed Katri to sub Little Women, since it's the WMT most people want to watch. But then you showed up subbing it, so we won't have to spend money anymore to pay this other guy. It wasn't a fansub, really, since it was paid.
Thanks a lot for your initiative in subbing Little Women! It's incredible how one of the most acclaimed WMTs still hasn't been subbed! I watched the sequel and it's my favorite WMT right beside Anne of Green Gables, so I really want to watch the original one. Unfortunately I can't help you with translation and subs, but if you need any other kind of help, feel free to ask. Once again, thanks a ton for your work!

I do not watch BL but I believe I have watched a shounen ai type of anime recently called Spiritpact. I watched it for the story. It isn't that bad, I guess. My love for anime circles more on historical fantasy, mysteries and psychological thrillers. ^^
