But what Code geass has going for it(over all and not against DN) is the entertainment value it has + C.C. Its just a show like many others but these two things in my opinion make the show as popular in kid especially as it is.
It has a really good story too but the execution is a bit flawed. There's no way an adult watching Code Geass would believe those bullshit tricks zero pulled. But even so, it keeps you entertained throughout.
And about your review on Shinsekai Yori or whatever that show's name is, was kinda harsh. (The only thing I know about the show is that it has art equivalent to a pre teens show).
