I just read your review on new game and i will agree it wasn't the best anime. i agree that its very forgettable in a lot of aspects but nene was totally the best character. She actually had me on the edge of my seat every time for what she was going to do next, nene doesn't get the respect she deserves!
Well, she was handled better than Asuna, at least she does not get tentacle raped hehe but its good you mentioned her since those shows have a lot in common. Both are terrible written, you can see the pattern when you compare them.
Kirito does not wine a lot but he is gary stu and ruins battles, Haru at the other hand does not ruin battles but is awfully annoying. Asuna is a badass at first but later turns into a typical tsundere in distress. Kuroyukihime starts also strong but later in ep3 starts hiding from enemies that is much weaker than her, in this case, Cyian pile, a lvl 4 burst linker i belive and i was like "what, you are dumb, just fucking kill him". She fights in one battle against Yellow radio and thats all. The entire thing with six kings of pure color is forgotten.
The reason i used the term "sex object" was that almost Everything associated with AW when it comes to Merchendise is connected to her which is pretty much the Point with this series and LN:s as a whole. Reki cant write so he uses her to sell those LN, almost to a Point where she is naked.
Your Reviews has improved a lot. The reason i wanted to tell you this is becouse you mentioned the issues with characters but never Went into detail of why they suck but your Reviews has become better. Keep up the good work buddy.
I read some of your reviews and stumbled upon Accel World. I see that you praise Kuroyukihime but bash everyone else, since i have watched both the show and the light novels i can say that Kuroyukihime for me is the worst. She starts out cunning and wise but the show turns her into the sex symbol quickly.
In episode 3, she wants Harus help to defeat an enemy that she is hiding from, what? she also knows that that enemy is much lower level than her so whats the point, oh yeah, the story requires me to hide so i do, this is typical Reki Kawahara. You are praising her to be smart but to be honest, with those characters is not that hard but she is moron to me as well. She wants to reach level 10 and at the same time she confesses that Haru will be the strongest, so why is she developing a weapon that could bring her down.
When i first watched the first 2 episodes i really loved her but when episode 4 took place she fell in love becouse of "video games". Reki Kawahara wish fantasy aka SAO. Typical shit writing.
Sure, i dont like the MC either but not becouse the way he looks but becouse Reki cant write characters. For me, Kuro is the biggest offender since i expected more of her. When it comes to Haru, nothing to expect really, he is your traditional main MC that you see everywhere.

Well, let's be clear here, god eater is a piece of crap but yes, you do mean that it's 3D animated and not just CGI. Computers do a lot of animating these days. Inbetweeners have vastly sped up the production of anime in particular
I agree with you... Some concepts of the personality exchanging ability of Yamada-kun was from the Kokoro Connect except that Yamada-kun's concept was about personality exchange by means of kissing while Kokoro Connect was from the third-party or the antagonist of the story...
Hmm... Urara is somewhat similar to Shiina in terms of physical appearance or personality(?)...

Oh! No problem with that! Hmmm... Did you know about Kokoro Connect anime series? If you are interested on such anime series with a genre of psychological, slice-of-life and romance, maybe this one is for you :)
I've watched Yamada-kun, Haganai, To Love-Ru, Golden Time, Clannad, Tonari no Kaibutsu, Chuuni, Kokoro Connect, Angel Beats, Angel Beats!, AnoHana, Nagi no Asukara, Itazura na Kiss (the live action on TV but not all), and School Rumble (on TV but not all)... They're all good shows!
I've heard Love Hina, Ore Monogatari and Kanon... Hmmm... I'll put it on my next watchlist...
