Well, clear intentions or not, I disagree. While the character design is similar (that's PA Works for ya), I don't really see much similarity, especially in the concept (except perhaps Takajou, but he's a blatant reference to Takamatsu from Angel Beats). Plus, we've only seen 2 episodes of Charlotte so far, so these comparisons are unjustified, regardless.

Long story short, it's best not to throw around the word "rip-off". It's a derogatory term. Whether you intended to come off as negative about the show or not, you still did.

Do you assume all shows with superpowered, white-haired, high school girls are rip offs off angel beats? That's like half of all the shows out there.
