I haven't seen Fractale. Fantastic Children is technically sci-fi, but honestly it didn't have as many of the common sci-fi tropes, so you might still want to give it a shot!

I watched Fantastic Children and really enjoyed it, so you should give it a shot! It seems like the type of adventure that I think you would enjoy.

Hi,

thanks for the info, I'd have to look into the novel to see if the manga and anime adaptations don't punch it up to be similar to Free, or if it was a hot guys in school pool even in the novel. Based on the visual difference between the 2007 manga and the 2017 manga that does seem the case.

I mostly read romance fantasy isekai... some of my favorites from this genre are My In-Laws Are Obsessed With Me, Saving My Sweetheart, Secret Lady.

As for the action/shounen isekai, these are my favorites:

  • Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint (finished the novel, am caught up to the manhwa)
  • Trash of the Count's Family (caught up to the novel, probably am dropping the manhwa)
  • SSS Suicide Hunter (I'm like 50 chapters behind, I'm hoping to catch up to it soon I just have a lot on my backlog T_T)
