Merry Christmas!

You work at a kindergarten? Whoa, I admire your courage! I don't know if I could keep my sanity with all those kids constantly around me – hopefully, they're well-behaved. By the way do you get hazard pay and/or free therapy? If not you should! XD I'm kidding, the most important thing is that you enjoy and love your work, which I hope you do. =) It's true that kids grow up much too early nowadays and I agree that if you want them to have their innocence and the joys of being children for just a little time longer than I see no problem with that.

Yes, Tijuana is in Mexico – I wanted to go to Cancún for a couple of weeks this summer, but there were a lot of unexpected expenses this year and I couldn't afford to go. So, my girlfriend decided to treat me with a trip to Tijuana instead. She wanted to book a trip to Cancún, but October is their rainy/hurricane season. So, she decided on a city on the west coast instead.

As for my weekend, it was relaxing – not too many parties happening around this close to finals. I chilled with my mates, watched some anime, read some manga, and did some laundry. It's a choir that I found that I loved to do when I moved away from home. I find the white noise of the washing/drying machine to be soothing and the deed itself rather cathartic – what I hate doing is ironing – I love that particular choir with an intensity of a thousand suns! XD

In any case, I hope that you had a wonderful day and that this post finds you well. Take care and I hope to hear from you soon. =)

Assaulted by thirteen kids?!? Where do you work? You must lead a very interesting life! XD I now work part time at the Athletics' Centre here on campus and the worse I get is when someone injure themselves or others when exercising.

Yeah, my birthday was a blast and to think that I would have been equally as happy with a quieter birthday. LOL! I also love the gifts my frat brothers gave me and my girlfriend and since then my girlfriend and I have tried their gifts several times! XD Hey, we have to be grateful and try them out – after all, what am I going to tell my brothers when they asked how I liked my gifts. We also tried them out during our vacation the following week during Canadian Thanksgiving. One of my gifts from my girlfriend was a romantic getaway, what I didn't know that it was a trip to Tijuana!!!

In any case, I hope that you had a wonderful weekend and that this post finds you well. Take care and I hope to hear from you soon. =)

Well, how have you been lately? Is you computer ok? How's university? What are you going to watch as soon as you get the chance?

...there are a lot of topics to talk about actually.Anime related or not. =D

LOL! Don't worry mate for missing my birthday, because quite frankly, it's not that much of a monumental occasion. Regardless, your sentiments are much appreciated and I did have a happy and wonderful birthday. My day started off with a fantastic 15K morning run and an extra long workout – what can I say? I'm a jock and otaku at heart! I had a nice long distance chat with my twin brother, who was obviously sharing the same birthday as us and my parents called me and we chatted a bit! As a treat to myself, I had a slice of gourmet chocolate cake (mmm... cho-co-late) and some pricy dessert wine from an upscale/chic pâtisserie and took in a film. I watched some anime and read some manga – I wanted to achieve 700 completed anime series on my list, but I came up one short (I reached 700 completed anime series the morning after). As you already know, my girlfriend, in tandem with her sorority and my fraternity, threw me a "surprise" birthday party and we pretty much party the night away.

As for gifts my extended family (e.g., my grandparents and great-grandmother) sent me £200, which went into my trust fund. My parents sent me a card for my birthday with a cheque for $250; my brothers sent me cards and my baby sister sent me another finger-painted masterpiece. My girlfriend knitted me a blue (and cosy) jumper; an early edition of Moby Dick (my favourite book) and planned a long weekend getaway this coming (holiday) weekend. To celebrate my passing of the teen years (I turned 20) my frat brothers got me a lot of, to use the euphemism, "nightly adult bedroom toys" – a couple of which my girlfriend and I tried last that night and the morning after (wink, wink, nudge, nudge)! The funniest being a copy of the Karma Sutra wrapped in the dust jacket of, Karma Sutra for the Elderly. XD Other gifts included books, CDs, DVDs, gourmet coffee/chocolate, gift certificates to my favourite anime/manga store, various anime paraphernalia and trinkets, and clothing.

I'm glad that you're taking some time to relax, because all work and no play makes Yakamachi dull – I know it is important to make money, but what is point of it when you don't have time to spend it. In any case, it is good to hear from you again. I hope that you had a wonderful day and that this post would find you well. Take care and I hope to hear from you soon. =)

Ok yeah I was wondering who that was. But I couldn't out a finger on it.
Taylor_Tertius Oct 5, 2008 7:20 PM
Hey mate, it has been a while since we last traded posts – where in tarnations have you been? What have you been up to? I read that you've been quite busy juggling your life with two jobs! As for me, I've been well, can't complain much, lessons are going well and are quite bearable, the weather is a tad cold and wet signifying that autumn has arrived and I'm anticipating this upcoming season of anime – there is a cornucopia of anime that I want to watch. I also had my twentieth birthday this Friday (3 October) and it was a wonderful day. In short, I'm just having a grand old time with life! =D

So, you're in the process of downloading Legend of the Galactic Heroes – I have downloaded it quite a while ago and haven't had the chance to watch it yet. However, now that I think about it, I should get around to watching it soon, because it's taking a lot of space on my computer. One thing could be said about this series is that despite its age, it's ranked rather high on MAL, which speaks volumes. As for me, I started watching Flame of Recca yesterday and I just finished watching Koihime†Musou and D.Gray-man.

Actually, my anime watching has slowed down since school started – why has people think that my anime watching has not wavered? XD I used to watch twice as much anime during the summer and now I have cut back significantly, but as I said before, no one seems to notice! I reckon even at half my intensity, I still watch more anime than expected.

In any case, I hope that you had a wonderful weekend and that this post finds you well. Take care and I hope to hear from you soon. =)

Passet så utrolig bra at du kommenterte etter at en spurte om et Yuuno bilde, da! Wow, sånn seriøst. :P

Poster tilfeldig siden du har yuuno som bilde. Cheers!

That's okay, I hope you had a nice time on your birthday ^^, 'cause after all birthdays should be celebrated. ^^

And I'm sorry to hear that about your computer; it's certainly not something pleasant. It's been a long time since I've had problems with mine; but I know how exasperating it can be when it happens. I bet when it's all fixed you're going to go from anime marathon to anime marathon. You have, after all, a lot to catch up with. ^^
Taylor_Tertius Aug 15, 2008 7:12 PM
LOL! Wishing you a happy birthday is the least I can do on your special day. What's important was that you had an enjoyable birthday. So, what did you do on your birthday? I hope it was something special. However, more importantly what sort of presents did you get? XD

Wow, it seems like you are really busy having two part time jobs – it must be hectic scheduling both jobs into your day. I'm sorry to hear that your computer is not functioning well – hopefully, it’ll get fixed soon. I don't know what I would do without my computer – it is a very useful tool that is very difficult to live without. Although, I imagine that I could if the situation was dire enough, though I wouldn't want to try it! XD

In any case, I hope that you are having a wonderful day, that you have an awesome weekend and that this post finds you well. Take care and I hope to hear from you soon. =)
