Hello! My name is Tomi Trebicka. I am 22 years old and I study biotechnology in Tirana, Albania. I started to watch anime frequently 6 years ago when I was in the eighth grade. My first anime were Dragon Ball Z (I used to watch it when I was kid tho but nvm), Lupin the Third, Zenki, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Detective Conan. Since then I wasn't very interested in anime cuz I thought that all of them were pretty much the same (like the Marvel movies). But guess what? I was wrong. During the eighth grade, a friend recommended me to watch Tokyo Ghoul. I was very intrigued by the title tbh and I decided to watch it. It was pretty good. Then I found out about Attack on Titan, Death Note, Death Parade, Erased, Future Diary and etc and etc. My favorite genre was thriller, action, and fantasy combined together. I had watched 30 or 35 anime within one year or two. When I finished my first year in High-School, my mentality started to change and I stopped watching anime for nearly 2 years. It was a huge change. I was dedicated to tv series, and movies (what normal people watch).
Then the Pandemic came. I was pretty bored ngl and I decided to give anime a second chance. I'm so glad about this decision. Anime changed my view on life. It made me a better person. I know that it's pretty unrealistic, but who cares after all. This is the reason why I love it, to escape from my mundane life.
Well, that was my take on anime. I'm a pretty chill guy. I don't like comparing shows with each other cuz I think it's pointless. Just enjoy it for f***s sake.
