My name is Brice and I live in Switzerland, a very comfortable place to spend my life. Nice to meet you!
Even though I'm 28, I'm still rather childish for my age, which doesn't mean I can't watch some serious anime ! I speak French (my first language) and English (I convinced myself I have a good level, you're free to judge). I'm also supposed to know German and I learnt some Japanese through anime. I visited Tokyo in April 2014, and realised that knowing what "tadaima" and "aozora" mean isn't necessarily useful...

I watch every kind of anime with the exception of yaoi and my favorite stories are the ones taking place in schools, slice-of-life, "cute girls doing cute things" and epic stories and hentai with tentacles. My favorite genre would be what I call "romantic comedies" such as Clannad and Toradora!.

Even though I technically watched different anime, before even knowing the difference between American cartoons and Japanese ones, I "discovered" anime by watching Fullmetal Alchemist. At that time, I had no choice but to watch what was considered as the most popular shows, namely Naruto and Bleach. I soon realized there were better and shorter shows out there though.
Then, I started reading manga; first on my computer, but now I'm buying a lot of official French translations of my favorite series!
It wouldn't be a stretch to say that nowadays, anime is a part of my life. I'm even part of the committee of the second biggest Japanese convention in Switzerland =D

I also like physics and mathematics - I recently started a PhD in particle physics - but also video games, especially the Super Mario, Zelda and Final Fantasy series.

Hey! Thank you for the recommendation! :) Well...I am into dark and bloody anime, but I also like deep kind of anime.. If you get what I mean :D anime like erased/ boku dake ga Inai Machi... ^-^ I like dark anime, but I also see for some anime genres I have never thought about watching

Vu que tu lis des LN, tu serais intéressé de lire le volume 4 de No Game No Life ?
C'est la suite directe de l'anime et je cherche à avoir des retours sur la traduction pour pouvoir l'améliorer.

Et Tenshi no Tamago est un film de Mamoru Oshii, le réalisateur de Ghost in the Shell, qui excelle dans l'art du mindfuck. Un coup de coeur perso ^^'

I think he only makes chapters like them because he can, just to show of his expertise. The way that Saitama's extremely simplistic style contrasts also adds a level of humour to it I think.

Each chapter takes weeks to come out though, so the artist spends a very long time on each page.

Cool, glad to hear it! ^o^ My favorite character is obviously Saitama, but the Licenceless Rider is also pretty funny when he shows up.

The art is really incredible too, just look at chapters 25+26, Madhouse don't even have to do any animating, just put the pages together!

Apart from On Punch-Man there's not much that really stands out to me in next season's line up, which is a shame . There's Yuru Yuri S3 which I've been looking forward to for ages but that's about it. But, like normal, there'll probably be some more shows that turn out to be good, or at least I hope so! X)

There's also the next monogatari season, but I'll have to catch up on the previous seasons first.
