Thanks for the friend request and apologies for accepting 2 months late! I has a summer internship that was very busy so I was not using MAL often. Also, glad to see FMA appreciation! I don't know if you watched FMAB, but for me, I thought FMA was written better~

you are the 7th person to personally message me about the 1* but the most tame and understanding one the other people come use some curse words say things like "so you can't handle emotions" and "you are just a dumb kid" that's why i became more angry and gave it a 1* i have nothing against this anime and i also have nothing against people who like this anime but this is just too much If you get touched by girls you get turned into an animal THE END is that even a legit story if it didn't have good characters and speech lines it was an actual 1* for me but i will give a 6* when it gets to rank it deserves like top 100 or something

"and i have actually seen it" so you are saying i haven't you know only kids rate anime without wathin it anyway yeah i also think its not that bad but it doesn't deserve to have a higher score than steins gate fmab and gintama they all have like 2mill people and this anime had less than 200k so the 1* is to make it go down it doesn't deserve all this hype not to mention there is nothing great in the anime is just a normal anime if you beg to differ then pls tell me what is so great

I even thought Furuba s1 was a 10/10 best romance up until ep 8, then I started watching Nana at around the same time and I gradually lost the passion I had for the former. I hated the slapstick humour and the cheesy drama, but the breaking point was the episode focusing on Ritsu: I cringed at how serious themes like gender dysphoria and suicide attempt were handled so superficially. s2 and s3 have more drama and even the lighthearted moments were ruined by the extremely unlikable student council.

With that said, I'm not obsessed with good writing and I think it's perfectly fine to like a show if it strikes the right chord; in my case, Furuba just didn't, aside from the first few eps.
