Hey there,
no problem man, I´m quite busy too. Thanks for "Heroes And Villains" I enjoyed it, I would probably rate it 6/10.

Well my vision of nature is definitely different from the vision of "Greenpeace". I hate the whole "save-the-earth-no-matter-what" iniciation. However it´s possible I hate it only because of certain people I know, and Greenpeace iniciation in your country is different (I should rather write "more intelligent"). Al Gore represents the bad way of dealing with problems.

"And posting essays on anime sites isn't healthy I'm afraid" Oh? How so? I do not see reason why? Esseys are good almost everytime (exception - when some realy work is needed ...)

Hello,
I see you have rewatched Evangelion. I have to do that too. I have already forgot some parts and fragments and that´s not good.

I know few people who adore Beatles and love "Number 9". I have not really listened to Beach boys, will do it next week probably.

What I like about Misato? She is a mature woman, not a loli character (that´s the first point). I love her nature, her past, her weak side and her strong side. I guess she is proper character (not really the one we can usually see in anime and manga) and one of the last scenes in EoE, where she kiss Shinji, while deadly hurt, giving him some strengh, is unforgettable. On the other side Kaworu is mysterious and for me really "cool" character. Just when he levitates through Dogma while "Ode to Joy" is playing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kG16pfDZ3CM&feature=related and then realize his true goal, meaning; right after the inevitable death by his best friend.
"Aren´t you Lilum even aware that your so-called A.T. Field is merely that wall that encloses your mind?"
Kaworu represents for me something like "self-understanding", yet it´s not the best description. I´m sorry my poor english skills fail again.
I definitely do not think Shinji is annoying. Hell no! But compared to those two above he is not as interesting for me. And I do not want to place 3 characters from Evangelion to my list (the only exception is "Legend of the Galactic Heroes" which is kind of too monstrous to be put to normal ratings and classification).

Well I like animals, but not in some "Greenpeace" way. I got 2 cats. This question just poped in my mind, not really some reason.

Have a nice rest of the day ...

Hello,
yes, the cruel society of heartless bosses are definitely the ones to blame. Yet I do not think you should become one of them :)

When it comes to Beatles or Beach Boys, I do not hate them, but I do not really praise them either. It´s quite mediocre music in my opinion. When someone think that Beatles are really psychadelic music, while listening only to "Revolution Number 9", I have to laugh. I can imagine I would have different opinion, if I was 30 years older and living the whole life in Czech reoublic. I´m talking about my mom, who like them, and I can understand her, yet I do not find such beauty in 60th popmusic. What about you?

2nd Gig was a bit better than SAC, but still worse than the original movie I guess. It also forced me to rewatch "Blade Runner". Amazing sci-fi.

Watching sports bores me stiff, even worse is when I come to the class and 90% of the men here are talking about it :))

I have watched few silent movies and almost every was worth of watching. It looks like I have to watch "Woman in the Dunes" ... I will tell you my thoughs after, ok?

Btw when it comes to our discussion about Shinji (do not take it too seriously). I simply cannot tell why I do not like him so much. I accept his character, yet I do not find him so magnificent as you do. Something is missing for me ...
Well, I´m going to pub, have a nice rest of the day.

P.S.: I do not know if I asked already, but do you have some pet?

Haha - nice way, yet quite vicious. I also like walking around in nature, hiking is not so extremely physically demanding (I do not have good stamina myself), rather it takes lot of time. Me and few friends are hiking quite often and once in year we are going somewhere to forest in the czech country side for few days (5-8). Next year we would like to visit Norway for a month. It will hopefully be real hiking. When we are talking about hiking, are you doing some sport?

I have finished SAC now I´m watching SAC 2nd Gig. Right now it is a bit better than SAC, yet the original movie is still best.

I have to see Woman in Dunes. Solaris is magnificent without doubt. Why are you so surprised? :) Well you got the point that it does not corespond with the rest of my favourite movies. Ben Hur is quite nostagic for me. One of the first good old movies I have seen.

A fan of metal ... maybe. But it´s hard to decide if I like the whole genre. I like few bands and most of them are also ambient like. Yet I appriciate good metal sound - industrial / black / death sometimes even trash and power. Why are you asking, you like it? If you want to recommend something just ask, I know plenty of good songs, you would definitely like. Btw is it just me or are metal fans the most targeted by preoccupation? :) You know, when it comes to black metal, almost everyone will imagine skinny long haired guy wearing black clothes and talking like an orc from Mordor :D (unfortunatelly it´s sometimes really true). Generally for me, Metal is music I really like to listen to alone and not just as background.

Hey,
how are you? Anything new? Still busy with work? Try to make some time or you will become a workaholic (heh, guess I´m not a good example myself). Also I wanted to ask, are you interested in hiking or any other such activity?

Yes, I was enjoying my illness (goot amount of sleep, no people - just music and relaxing).

Thanks for those links, I´m busy right now, but I will look at it during the weekend.

By Kubric I have seen: Fullmetal Jacket, 2001, Eyes Wide Shut, The Shining, A Clockwork Orange and Dr. Strangelove.

"Would 14 year old loli fan girls really watch a Russian film though?" I doubt it, but she would definitely feel like in other galaxy :))

I´m rewatching Ghost in the Shell (original movie, and I upgraded my rating from 9/10 to 10/10 - though I often do the exact opposite, after rewatching. That movie really is something) and I also started to watch GitS: SAC and SAC 2gig. Do you like those?

Your random questions are extremely hard. My favourite movie of all time ... hmm, let me see: I think Stalker or Ben Hur (but it will maybe change with time, however these two will probably alway be about my top). Yours?

Haha pure coincidence I refreshed the page right after you sent the message. I am kinda stressed out but I'm okay, thanks for asking. Have a good night :)
SamuraiMama Oct 22, 2010 6:02 PM
Cool ^_^ Thank you very much. So how are you doing?
SamuraiMama Oct 22, 2010 4:40 PM
I look for them, I mean if someone mentions a movie I'll look into it but whether they liked it or hated it won't make a difference in if I watch it or not, I will either want to or I won't.
SamuraiMama Oct 22, 2010 3:30 PM
Hmm there's not really a "usually" I go by what I feel like watching and what looks and sounds good to me. Indie, comedy, drama, romance, kids movies I like them all. I watch foreign films too when I can find them. I love old classic movies. I don't usually go by recommendations or what the critics say because everyone has different tastes.
SamuraiMama Oct 20, 2010 3:42 PM
Probably both but more so the latter.
SamuraiMama Oct 19, 2010 4:05 PM
About films? I've watched so many I can't even begin to count, I probably haven't watched the kind of serious films you have tho.
SamuraiMama Oct 18, 2010 9:35 AM
I changed it because I was in the mood, I can't see what it looks like yet I might change it to a different one later.

Cool. Did you study film in school?
