My biggest problem with the movie is that the characters won't have the same voices we're used to.

You like Takasugi already, cool, he becomes so many times better in my favourite arc!

Also, Gintama is getting a live action film next year.

Thankfully because of Gintama's episodic nature (even though it isn't actually episodic) it's easy to watch it as well as other series at the same time.
