I’m not surprised you couldn’t get to a lot of areas. I couldn’t sleep to the point that I kept looking down from my bed to see if water had seeped in. We were locked in our neighborhood since the water surrounded us. Evacuation left/right even before water elevated into our neighborhood. It was sad meeting people who didn’t have house insurance or financial assistance to fix up their house since they’d be more likely to get sick. And Hardy toll? Completely submerged.
Samee. I was happy that I parked my car and everything was okay since last time it was completely totaled by the water. Some drivers here with pick-up trucks take joy intentionally creating waves and making the scene worse for others. -_- Aside from that, though its sappy I’d have to say it was beautiful to see how hate vanished for a moment and everyone pulled together to help one another during and after the difficult time.

Aspirin and the attempt to get on coffee. Caffeine just isn’t my forte.
School ending will be the start of my profession as a physical therapist. Until then, I’m working at Apple as a technician. Definitely a great job before school and hoping it won’t be too difficult to manage work/grad school at the same time. I don’t wanna rely on student loans for everything.

That “cold storm” closed all the highways down and majority of all stores. I went to Dunkin and they didn’t have a single donut cuz everyone called out, lol. Oh, I don’t think I ever mentioned, but I’ve been in Houston for a couple of years. Some historical flooding indeed; it was terrifying and I never felt so blessed to see the sun come out. I hope you weren’t affected by the flooding? SXSW? The one in Austin? That’s pretty dope!

Other than the insane weather, things have been pretty sweet. New job as well and starting grad school this summer. Everything seems to be falling into place; slowly but surely.
