I'm sorry for the late reply, I haven't really been watching anime thus also not been active on this site >.<

Anyway yeah, Gintama definitely deserves so much more attention and love from people outside of Japan. For some reason it has enough fans for the huge amount of episodes + 2 movies based on the Japanese fandom but it isn't very big in USA/EU for some reason. I think dub might have something to do with it, though there are also lots of popular anime that haven't been dubbed so hmmm. The humor might be the biggest reason. When I watched the first few episodes I thought it was funny, a bit strange but a nice watch. What I didn't expect was the very serious and action heavy Benizakura arc. Lots of people don't even know Gintama can get very, very serious and is one of the best action/emotional tear jerking anime out there, because it seems like a regular parody/comedy serie. Since most people don't really want to watch 250+ episodes of purely comedy etc I think that stops people from giving it a try too?

Ahh yes, the pain of having to wait a week for a new episodes, it's very painful and one of the reasons I've stopped watching anime for the moment. Unlike you I don't have other series I really want to finish or watch so yeah, I'm kind of waiting for the spring anime to be over so I can marathon them and for the summer anime to start.

Noragami is a great and extremely enjoyable anime if you ask me. I like the comedy but I do enjoy the more serious bits as well, it gives the serie a bit more depth and it's a nice contrast with all the jokes and stuff. Yato is a great main character, as is Yukine though many people dislike him. I really liked his development through the anime and I'm really praying for a 2nd season. The ost's Misogi and Lurk in the Dark and the opening are great as well so yeah, I'm a big fan haha.

Hoozuki no Reitetsu is not an amazing anime but a very enjoyable one, a very light and entertaining watch with a nice darker sense of humor. It's not great in the way you [i/]have to watch the next episode[/i] but it grew on me on the long run :)

DO NOT WATCH PUPA GOD PLEASE DONT DO IT SAVE YOURSELF WHILE YOU CAN.

I've been obsessed with movies recently and watched about 10 or 15 in the past few days haha. I'm not really into new tv series except for watching season 9 of Supernatural and almost 2 seasons of House.

Have you seen Saint Onii-chan yet? :)

I see you've startd Steins;Gate, how is it? I'm very reluctant to watch it since I tried the first episode once and I didn't like it at all... But I've heard such good things about it I feel like I should give it another shot haha.
I also see you're starting with Zetsuen no Tempest, if I may say so, I personally kinda liked the anime but it is very disappointing after the first, maybe 8 episodes or so? I really expected a lot from it based on the earlier episodes but it's honestly not that amazing, it gets very generic and I didn't think the characters were very likeable towards the end but that's a very biased opinion of course. I dropped it from an initial 9 to a 7 in the end so yeah. Just don't expect too much and perhaps you won't feel the same :)

Anyway I haven't seen any new episodes since your last comment so I don't really have much to say about them except for the fact that I'm very disappointed in most of the spring anime line up. About 5 of them are very average if not worse and I only really like about 2 or 3 out of the 11 series I'm watching, not invluding Haikyuu which was so bad I dropped it... How about you? Do you like the spring anime line up? Which ones are your favorite? :)
BoxHero May 12, 2014 11:49 AM
Sure sounds good
Celestrial2 May 9, 2014 11:00 PM
honestly, im expecting gintama to be in my like top 5 xD
i have high hopes!
the reason i haven't watched it yet is because im waiting till summer so i can marathon the shit out of it
Itachi May 7, 2014 8:42 PM
Thanks! Nice to see a fellow fan of Gintama. I think the show deserves more recognition even though it's ranked high, there's still many missing out.
Animefanx3 May 6, 2014 12:21 PM
Well I definitely have to like the story to a certain degree but the animation and character design (and sometimes, just sometimes the seiyuu's too) play a part too. Hmm good anime that don't get the attention they deserve?
I think Gintama is a good example, though it has some loyal fans there aren't that many. A lot of anime fans I speak to have never heard of it despite it having so many episodes and a few seasons in Japan. I think it has something to do with the style though, it's not a typical shounen anime and the humor is brilliant in my opinion but there are people who don't get it/like it so yeah, I guess the audience it reaches is a little smaller than a standard shounen serie?
Another anime that deserves more attention is Natsume Yuujinchou, despite it having high scores the first season has just a little over 100.000 members, which isn't too much considering it's such a great anime, at least it's not enough in my opinion haha.

I haven't seen any new episodes since my last comment, I haven't really been into anime the past few days + my work schedule has been quite hectic. I've been watching those awful yet fairly entertaining MTV shows and some youtube stuff so I'll write you back when I've seen some new episodes and have something new to say :)

About Fairy Tail - I love Natsu as main character and I actually kinda like Lucy as well though she is a bit useless at times. At least she tries and isn't too whiny or that irritating kind of arrogant/strong that she hits/bullies the mc all the time (have you seen Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu? That girl is exactly what I hate) so yeah, I kinda like her. I do feel like Gray doesn't really get the attention he deserves and is kind of like a side/minor character while he felt like one of the mc's at the begin? It's nothing too bad though. I love FT to death and I'm so happy the new seaosn is airing so I can marathon in somewhere (hopefully soon) in the future :)

I've marathroned OP a few weeks ago, the Punk Hazard arc and though I hate the endless flashbacks and the flow was a bit too slow I really, really enjoyed it. I love Law so I was really happy he was in the arc :)

Hmm I've been sticking with mostly Japanese/Korean music and ost's for the past few years though I do listen to some english/american as well, it all depends on my mood I guess. Ohh I've never been to a music festival but I hope you'll have a lot of fun, I've heard about all of them are awesome so have fun! ^^
Haha well I'm very passionate about the songs I do still listen to now, I don't have a crazy huge playlist like some people have. I think I have about +/- 500 songs in my playlist including some english but in reality I only listen to about... 300/350 of them? The rest I usually skip or aren't in my main playlist so I often forget I even have them haha.

Well I think I watch more shounen anime rather than shoujo but even then you can't escape that type of female chars! They're everywhere; in action, supernatural, adventure, mystery, romance, slice of life, comedy anime, freaking e-v-e-r-y-w-h-e-r-e. I hope nobody uses it as reference for real life either but it does make me a bit worried there are so many docile and extremele submissive and spineless characters like that. Ugh.

DONT WATCH PUPA IT"S HORRIBLE GOD NO SPARE YOURSELF AND YOUR EYES AND YOUR SANITY NO PUPA IS A NO GOD DONT!

Noragami and Hoozuki no Reitetsu were very enjoyable and good in my opinion, what do you think of them? I see you've started Psycho Pass as well, how is it? The female mc is very annoying but the rest of the serie was really good, I just wished she woulldn't have been in the serie...

I might give GoT a shot but don't really feel like watching it atm, I'll keep it in mind though, I've heard so many good things about it I ought to give it a shot at least :) I'll check the site out, I often use Kickass but that's only because it's the only torrent site I know haha.

Did you watch Saint Onii-chan yet? I really miss the serie, too bad it only has 2 ova's and a movie and it isn't a tv serie :(
KabuD May 6, 2014 11:29 AM
well dubb is the worst idea if it comes to anime. japanese voice is just the best for this kind of entertaiment, so it doesn't bother me much.
Sugita, Tomokazu is just the best voice actor there is, always amusing with his acting :D
until now I had to learn for exams, now I will have time to watch some anime, maybe even gintama (watched 20 episodes, but didn't like it) but seems like it's worth giving it another shot.
Chill_ May 1, 2014 7:36 AM
Ah, I see. Thanks for answering.
Chill_ Apr 30, 2014 10:23 AM
I like your madao profile picture. From what episode is that?
Animefanx3 Apr 24, 2014 6:34 PM
Ohhh so good to hear someone else (kind of) has the same problem, I'm relieved to hear it. I often feel like it's a really snobby or picky (in a bad way) thing to say since it makes it seem like I only care about the visuals of an anime but it honestly bothers me. There are quite a few series I would like to watch but they're so old or the animation looks so weird/old that I can't bring myself to do so, really a shame :( I suppose I'm lucky the animation got a huge improvement in the last few years but some series from just 5 years ago are still bad enough to make me cringe haha

I once saw the title of a book that mentioned it but I didn't read it so I don't know how generelized the plot is by then but I think it's only normal there are only an x number of possible plot twist that can exist? I always get a bit annoyed at people when they mention they don't like a serie because it's not "original enough". Every story has been done in some form or another, there is literally no original story left anymore, every shounen anime will come down to the same concepts if you nitpick at the details long enough, sigh. The question is what the serie as individual does with the little details and the possible twists it can use, that's what counts and makes a serie stand out or not, not the fact whether or not the basic story is "hero fighting against evil and always winning in the end" *eye roll*.

~ Akuma no Riddle - Ohh really? Hmmm well let's see how things turn out but I don't have much hope for it if you put it that way haha.

~ Black Bullet - Ahh well it was one of the first things I noticed haha. I don't really mind it but I do think he's a bit OP, in a bad way. I mean he has this "absolute defense field" because he manipulated his organs through surgerie? That's pretty bad news for our mc, he can't even touch the guy, how is he ever going to defeat him? But I'm looking forward to how he'll pull it off :)

~ Mahouka - Well it's one of the running "gags" in the LN I've heard, it's not as if it'll suddenly turn into a real romance though I understand if people don't really like that aspect of the serie. I honestly don't mind but I've seen OreImo and other "barely safe" anime so this pales in comparison haha. What do you mean "are they really not related"? I thought they never mentioned anythign about them not being blood related? As far as I know (or noticed) they're proper blood related siblings... or did I miss something major?
Hmmm yeah I know what you mean, I think his attitude is a bit too stiff and serious but I do think it adds to his badass level when he's fighting, it makes it eaiser to take the fights serious if you know what I mean? I have a huge weakness for Gintoki, and Gintama in general, so I'm completely biased when I saw I prefer Gintoki's attitude over his but I don't think his is too bad. I'd like to seem him relaxed or smile wholeheartedly for once though.

I won't read ahead to any show I enjoy I think, I don't mind reading the LN but seeing things animated is what gets me thrilled about a serie. Some manga are really good and able to pull me in almost as much as the anime does but it does miss that extra something in the end. Ah well it's all a matter of preferences.

~ Mushishi - Haha well if you insist that much I feel obligated to give it at least another shot. I do wonder though; what do you like so much about Ginko? I don't think he's a bad mc based on episode 1 but I didn't think he was outstanding or especially captivating either. Is he really cool or has he secret extra powers or what makes him so interesting everyone is obsessed with Mushishi? :) I'm honestly curious about your opinion, please don't take this the wrong way, I'm not trying to insult the character or the serie. I'm merely wondering where the charm points from the serie come from :)

~ Fairy Tail - It'll always be a bit of a special show for me as it's the first on going shounen anime that I started to follow from almost the beginning. I think I picked it up when the anime was at the begin of the "Tower of Heaven" arc so around episode 25 I guess? I was utterly obsessed with the anime once I started it and I catched up way too soon so I had to wait weekly haha. I put it on hold for a while in order to marathon everything though, I couldn't handle waiting week after week. I'm waiting for this arc to be finished before I'll pick it up again but it's so hard not to watch the new episodes :P
Oh and could you put spoilers tags the next time you mention spoilers? I've seen the serie of course but there might be other people on my profile page who might haven't and end up getting spoiled :)

Ehhhh??? How is it possible you didn't like the FT ost's? Seriously? Have you even heard them properly and not just as background music to which you don't really pay attention because of what's happening? I can't let this slide by like this. I mean have you heard these ost's;
Sukumei
Kizuna
Tsuioku Kanashii Tamashii
Tsuioku Mezameru Tamashii
Inishie no Maou
Seigi no Chikara
Tsubasa Aru Mono
Mirajane
Sad Past
S-Kyu Mad-shi Shokaku Shikan

Or the battle ost's like;
Dragon Force
Released Power
Mystogan Theme
Shippu Jinrai
Raienryuu no Hoeru
Mahoukyou no Tabibito
Erza Theme
Natsu vs. Dyst
Sannin no Dragon Slayer
Fairy Tail Main Theme
(Invoke Magic, don't like this one too much myself but it's very popular too)

Like seriously, listen to them (or at least some of them) and tell me how you can't like them :| I have a few Naruto ost's I love as well though the list is a lot shorter. Do you have a few good battle ost's that are worth listening to? As for OP and ED, Naruto wins hands down. I actually skip all the OP and ED for FT since they're full of spoilers and I forget to watch them once there's a new one. I've heard a few though and except for the 1st one I don't remember another :(

~ Gokukoku - I'll endure it but to skim through the episodes seems like a plan.

~ NGNL - WHAT DID YOU THINK OF EPISODE 3? I AM OBSESSED WITH THIS ANIME AND IT PAINS ME TO WAIT ANOTHER 5 DAYS OTL NO SERIOUSLY I COULDNT HANDLE IT WHEN THE EPISODE ENDED BUT THE GAME WASN'T FINISHED YET HOW COULD THEY'VE ENDED IT LIKE THAT JUST WHEN STUFF WAS HEATING UP LIKE THAT T^T

*Ahem, cough*. I'm planning on giving M3 Sono Kuroki Hagane a shot too, I really like the promo picture for some reason but I've read not very enthousiastic comments in the episode discusson so I'm wondering what it'll bring. It's always a bit of a shame when the promo pic is better than the serie itself ._.
Anyway, let me know if you end up watching one of them in the future then. I don't know if you're a fan of romance and slice of life anime but I think Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou is pretty good. I recommend you to stay away from Kiniro but I think you got the hint with my previous comment haha.

But seriously, I hate how almost all anime have those weak ass useless female characters. I don't think it's cute or normal at all to let a guy walk all over you like that and it irritated me to no end. Unfortunately almost all anime seem to have at least 1 girl in it like that, sometimes even more *sigh*. I honestly don't get what's up with Japans obsession with weak and useless female characters. Some manga summaries are borderline rape or at the very least sexual harassment, they're going really insanely far with that shit. Don't they realize some girls might take it seriously and think that's how they should act around guys? I'm not saying manga or anime are supposed to serve as a "role model" but if there are SO FREAKING MANY shoujo manga (for example: Hot Gimmick, Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji or Mitsu x Mitsu Drops) or shounen series with female characters like that, it can't be a good influence on the long run. Ugh.
Maybe I'm giving it too much thought but it honestly makes me sick in the stomach when there are stories or characters that are seriously crossing the line of what can be accepted "for the sake of the plot" and shit that is just so extreme or retarded it makes me want to smack the mangaka's on the head like what made them think it was a good idea to write something like THAT. What the freaking hell is wrong with some of them. Just read the summaries of those manga I listed.
It doesn't matter how freaking nice the guy acts later in the manga, if he uses his "love interest" as fucking slave or rag doll that's NOT OKAY. No matter what happened in his past show some fucking respect. I'd rather see the female main character punch a guy like that in his arrogant and common sense lacking fucking face instead of getting all flustered and weak kneed obeying his orders and falling in love with a total douchebag like that. ARRRHHHGH. Sorry but I had to let that out.

*cough* Back on track about anime; I'm slowly working on thinning out my on-hold list. There are a few series I can't finish but there are too many that I've been pushing away for years now. I do wonder if I should just drop a few of them but on the other hand it feels like a shame to just drop it altogether. Sigh, decisions decisions :) How about you? Any plans/ideas on what you're going to watch once you've catched up with what you want to watch right now?

I've been wondering if I should watch GoT for a while now since I can't really find any anime that I'd like to watch lately but I'm more in the mood for anime rather than a real life serie haha. I always tend to have certain moods for stuff like anime or reading manga or watching jdrama or watching other real life series.
Do you mean if I can receive them on my tv or if I watch them in general? I don't really watch tv since I always use my laptop to watch stuff online but I could watch a few series/tv programs varying from MTV programs to TLC (say yes to the dress or Cake Bosses or something like that) or GoM/House/CSI/Downton Abbey etc. But we're always a few seasons behind compared to America.

Before I forget; if you have time or if you're bored, go watch Saint Onii-chan. I'd recommend first watched the 2 OVA's and then the movie, the movie is better than the ova's so you'd avoid getting disappinted afterwards that way. I really liked it, it has nice humor and the concept is quite original haha. Just give it a shot :)

Hope to hear from you soon, bye byee ~
Animefanx3 Apr 20, 2014 1:43 PM
Well I actually would like to watch it but the art style is eh... too old? I don't know if I ever told you but art style is kind of an important factor wether or not I'll watch a serie or not. I can't really handle old anime styles, like anything before 2000 I guess? I don't know what it is but I just can't get myself to like those series and when I try to watch them it keeps bothering me and it makes it very hard to enjoy the serie ._. It's just a strange and picky thing of mine >.<"

I agree, mood has a lot to do with finishing certain anime series though I also don't really find most of my on hold anime that interesting but I do think it's a shame to drop them after watching a few episodes haha.

~ Akuma no Riddle - I've decided to wait for the anime to finish, read a few reviews and ask a few people what they thought of it and then decide whether to watch it or not. I've read different feedback from various people so it's a little hard to decide if it's worth checking out or not.

~ Black Bullet - I liked the 2nd episode as well, definitely better than I feared but not enough action I guess haha :) I didn't feel tears welling up though I'm very easily moved by anime but it was good. It is pretty cliche but I don't really mind that, as I often say; no story is original anymore, every possible variation has already been written once. I've read once that there are only something like 36 story lines if you simplify them, no wonder that so many anime overlap haha.
Whoops, back on topic about the anime; I really like the art style, the main char is cool, the girl is not too bad though I don't like her actions in the 2nd episode too much (but I do understan them) and the bad guy is indeed very creepy and awesome, though I don't like the fact that he has like grey hair? I mean it gives the impressions he's an old guy in his 60's or something yet he's so strong and flexible etc? :P

~ Mahouka - I really liked the 3rd episode. I think Tatsuya is really badass and a bit OP but not in a bad way. I really dig the "secretly strong main characters" type of anime so this is great for me. I'm finally starting to get hyped for the serie after seeing the 3rd episode, hopefully the same will happen to you. I'm planning on reading the novel after each episode though, to see what stuff they missed in the anime and how the writer originally meant things to be. I'm not going to read ahead of the anime though, I think it's best to see things animated first, I think I'd get a bit bored with the anime if I already knew what would happen every episode? :)

~ Kenzen Robo - Hmm well I won't watch it but in what way is it inappropriate? The humor? Too much fanservice? To be called the most inappropriate by you does make it sound at least a little more... interesting I guess haha.

~ Mushishi - I don't know if I'll like it if I were to watch it, I am absolutely in love with Natsume Yuujinchou and since the story is basically the same (though the execution is completely different) I don't know if I'll like it since I'll unconsciously keep comparing it with NY, or so I think. I also don't really like the character design/art style, it's not bad or too old at all but not really what I personally like haha. But I knd of want to watch it since I keep hearing good things about it. Hmmm difficult haha

~ Fairy Tail 2 - I can't describe my love for Fairy Tail, it's a standard shounen anime in every aspect but I love it so much. The only complaint I have is that they excluded blood from every fight and there are only 175 episodes (including fillers) for the first season and I need more Jellal and Mystogan and Sting and Rogue screentime :) Don't get me started on the ost's though, I think Fairy Tail has hands down, the best ost's (both battle as emotional) I've ever heard. Naruto has some pretty good ones but not as many as Fairy Tail and I don't really remember hearing any remarkable battle ost's from Naruto though with that many episodes it's easy so lose track of them. Do you like the ost's too?

~ Break Blade - I think I'll actually stick with the movies, I don't really understan why it got a tv series since it already got 6 movies and the tv serie doesn't bring any real new content to the viewer, or so I read in the ep 1 discussion.

~ No Game No Life - Ah my life source for the next 10 weeks. I love it so much it's absurd haha. I'm so looking forward to the next episode, it's bound to be completely bad ass and amazing. I didn't really like the first half of the 2nd episode as much as I hoped but the 2nd half was really good. Don't get me wrong, I liked the episode a lot but episode 1 was more entertaining? I especially loved the introduction part (first half) but I guess this was more of a build up episode for the next game. I do think the first half showed a bit of a twisted side of the world; games can even mess with people's feelings/mind. I don't think the writer will go into the darker aspects of that possibility but I do like to learn details about the new world like that :)
Hmm I don't know if I'd compare him with Light since I like him more than Light (which I do like though) but he certainly got an amazing "serious beat em all" mode. I loved the scene where they were "separated" btw, they're so useless but kinda cute haha. I hope they'll explain how it came to be so extreme, I mean they both went to school in the past so how did they cope then? I'm dying for some background story on them.
I read the novel parts this episode covered and damn, that was a lot LN material. It somehow didn't feel like that much in the episode though? Anyway can't wait for episode 3!

~ Gokukoku - I don't know why it but feels soooo mediocore to me. I keep skipping through the episode for some plot but everything they reveal feels so mediocore and idk, it doesn't catch my interest at all. I'll probably "watch" every episode to see how they'll "end" (open ending I guess) the anime but I feel like they could've put the last 3 episodes in 1 more interesting one and you wouldn't miss that much.

~ Bokura wa Mina Kawaisou - Fine serie so far, nice enjoyable and relaxing watch I guess. Kawai-senpai is very cute and the main char is likeable. I don't like one of the female residents but that's nothing major.

~ Escha & Logy no Atelier - Very cute and relaxing watch. Nice serie about nice people doing nice things I guess. It got like a very thin plot but that's to be expected with a light hearted feeling and cute setting. I do like it though. Escha and Logy are a cute team and I'm cheering them on to get together haha.

~ Kiniro no Corda Blue Sky - Very frustrating typical reverse harem female main character, has no backbone and everyone will fall in love with her. Like seriously, she got half forced into a date and the guy suddenly exclaimed they were in love and she was his girlfriend and he confessed his love and asked her to say it too and she, weak ass no common sense meek stupid excuse of a main character actually freaking flying fuck said it while she just met him the previous day. But it gets better. Later they played a duet (only nice point of the anime honestly) and he leans in to kiss her like what the hell and she does NOTHING to stop him, she doesn't even like him and she just lets him do what he wants. Like what the actual fuck. Sorry for swearing so much but I hate hate hate characters like her with a burning passion. She is the reason I'm giving up hope on shoujo romance anime though I do like romance anime from time to time T^T

~ Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii - Ep 3 wasn't all that good, not bad either but yeah, I didn't like what she did at the end. Mc is becoming a bit of a pushover and I dislike the bratty attitude of the 15 year old king with a passion. Such a shame, it feels like it's going to turn the mc in a blusing "senpai notice me" character even though she started strong and with a backbone, well at least more than I dared to hope for.

~ Haikyuu - I dropped (deleted) it T^T I couldn't stand the orange haired main character anymore, he's so annoying and I don't think I'll ever come to like him. Such a shame of a sport anime :(

~ Chaiki - Eh I don't know if I'll keep watching it. It's not bad but not very interesting either. Don't like the art style as well so not much keeping me from dropping it.

That's a lot you'll have to watch but it's better than not having anything to watch like me I guess. I just can't find anything that seems interesting, it's driving me crazy. I re-watched most of the FT arcs and Code Geass more times than I can count and some other series I really liked but I can't find any new series OTL
Ah well hopefully one day (soon) I'll find one haha. Ohh which american series are you watching? :)

Ah this comment is a bit long but I hope you don't mind haha. I hope I'll speak you soon, feel free to shoot me a message even if all the 3rd episodes haven't aired yet.
avelys Apr 17, 2014 9:25 PM
Your profile photo is just the coolest. Hajime no Ippo is so bad ass! Love it. I have to hurry and watch the other OVAs and the second season, I think? I can't wait to watch Rising. Argh so much to watch!
KingKongShrest Apr 17, 2014 7:34 PM
Haha, yeah. But honestly, no other show has the ability to create so many reactions from the viewers. Gintama can make you excited, sad, happy, angry. Every single person has a strong personality as well.
Animefanx3 Apr 12, 2014 7:48 PM
We can only hope for news about a new season for Gintama for now :( I don't watch HNI but I've heard it's very good?

Hmm well I'm not really one to talk about finishing an anime, I have quite a few on hold that I haven't completed for like almost years now (some of them). Most of them are either ones I have to be in the right kind of mood/spirit to want to watch them, others are just very meh and I'm contemplating whether to drop/delete them or not. I usually delete series rather than drop them, only anime I really really disliked are dropped haha.

~ Akuma no Riddle; I'll wait till the plot (if there is one haha) has developed some more and decide then if I'll watch it or not, I'm not going to waste my time/force myself to watch questionable anime (in my eyes) anymore. I've seen too many mediocore anime to get sick and tired of them and I get kinda disappointed whenever a serie doesn't meet my expectations at all, sigh :)

~ Black Bullet; I prefer dark and serious any time over (sudden) drama mixed with (forced) comedy so anime like that are always a bit risky for me. I don't mind it at all though as long as the action is good, the plot makes sense and the characters are likeable. The question is whether or not they'll pull it off properly or not, though I do have good hopes for this one for now.

~ Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou; watched the 2nd episode and it's good. Not very outstanding (yet?) but a nice relaxing watch. I'm getting a bit used to the visuals so it doesn't bother me as much as before but still... not ideal for me haha.

~ Hitsugi no Chaika; I'll give the anime 1 or 2 more episodes but I think I'll drop this one

~ Mahouka; 2nd episode is pretty nice, nothing special but it's only the 2nd episode. I think I might really end up liking this if there's going to be some real action once the introduction to their world "arc" is done.

~ Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii; 2nd episode is pretty good! I was completely right and call bullshit on the bratty king but Nike handled him so much better than I feared. She's a rather strong female char considering this is a shoujo genre anime, something you don't see often but which I really like. I'm sick and tired of the yes nodding, spineless, soft spoken and useless female characters. Give it another shot if you feel like it, I think the 2nd episode should be counted as the first 'real' epispde since the plot didn't move at all in the first one.

~ Haikyuu; I'll at least watch the 2nd episode but I'm pretty sure I'm going to drop it. Such a shame, I love sports anime T^T But I just can't find any likeable thing about this one, if only the character design was a little different and the mc hair was a little more orange-reddish and the charaters were a little less... like they are now? >.<"

~ NGNL; So freaking excited for this one my god, I'm actually counting down days till the next episode. I'm so curious which path the serie will take; serious, comedy, mix, drama, cool fights or silly ones, are they going to beat everyone with clever cheats or with honest fights? Wah I'm so curious :) I think they won't have a hard time adjusting to this life haha, though it would be intersting if they met someone who was also from "our" world in Disboard?

Anime I didn't list/watched after my previous comment;

~ Kanojo ga Flag wo Oraretara; interesting story, rather poor execution. Might drop it but for now I'll at least watch episode 2. I somehow managed to dislike all 3 voice actors of the 3 main characters that were in episode 1 so yeah, not a great start. So much potential story wise if only it was a darker/serious anime...

~ Isshukan Friends; nice story but nothing too great, idk, it was sad at the right time but I didn't really felt it? I'll give it at least another 2 epsiodes or so to see how it'll develop but my biggest question is how they'll keep it interesting for another 11 episodes. They can't repeat the same cycle over and over again after all.

~ Kenzen Robo Daimidaler; I was going to watch this one untill I saw the ridiculous hairstyle of the main character. It exactly what I don't like haha so nope. Nopenowaynope. Shame since it sounds kinda interesting from what you described but... yeah

~ Soul Eater Not!; I'm not watching this one since I never saw Soul Eater. I once watched episode 1 but I was so done when they had to start over again that I immediately stopped. I also heard the anime drifts off from the original source quite a lot and that it's not all that good compared to the manga?

~ Mushishi 2; Haven't seen the first season so yeah. I don't know if I'll ever watch it, I've been considering it for months now but I didn't really like the first episode nor made it make me want to watch the next episode so hmmmm... I heard it's really really good though so I'm a bit torn about this.

~ Blade and Soul; I saw the promo picture on MAL and decided not to watch it. Though the promo pics can be very misleading this one screamed "mediocore" and "very meh art style" and based on your opinion I won't even try it I guess.

~ Fairy Tail 2; I AM SO HAPPY IT'S BACK BUT I"M SO WORRIEDD ABOUT IT CATCHING UP TO THE MANGA TOO SOON AGAIN T^T I'm very torn what to do with this one though; should I wait till the story starts moving, put it on hold and marathon the whole arc in one go or watch it weekly? I hate waiting for episodes so I'm very tempted to do the first thing but I also don't want to be thrown into a spiral of spoilers that are inevitable coming across on the internet.

~ Mekakucity Actors; got a huge fan base/hype so I expected quite a lot but eh.... I don't like the art style and character design. It reminds me a lot of Bakemonogatari regarding both so I keep expecting that smooth style so yeah, bit of a let down, it looks a tad cheap? Anyway I also don't like the computer girls voice, it's very forced hyper and shrill but the story is very, very good or so I've heard so I'll stick around :)

~ Atelier Escha & Logy; Very cute, slice of life and perhaps future romance anime. The characters are cute and the visuals are pretty, I only wished the colors would've been a tad more vibrant. Escha's voice actor has a bit of a shrill voice and I would've liked a little softer/more refined/cuter voice for such a cute character but it's nothing major. There were some cute moments between Escha and Logix so I hope they'll continue that.

~ Break Blade TV; I'm going to watch this one I think, I've seen the first movie and kinda liked it. There are an additonal 5 movies which I haven't seen yet so I'm wondering if it's better to first watch the seire as movie or as tv version. The tv version is often considered better since there is more time for details/the plot but in this case the movies are a serie of 6 so that should be enough time to properly develop everything...

Hmm I won't watch those either, is it me or do they all look like "children" series? The promo pics remind me of series like Bakugan/B-Daman etc? I always stream them online at kissanime, you can stream them at 720p or even 1080p so I don't need to download everything :) There are pics and summaries so I often base my first impression/watch or won't watch list on those 2 factors. After that I'll look at the score and topic discussion of the 1st episode about shows I'm not sure about, I'm glad I do this because I might've missed some pretty good/enjoyable shows if I wouldn't have :)

Anyway back on the anime track; I also dropped Ryuugajou Nanana no Maizoukin within 10 minutes, I couldn't get myself to like the art style/character design and it all seemed very dull and mediocore.

How's Seikoku no Dragonar btw?

Ohh don't get me started on the summer anime, it's fangirl heaven haha. No seriously though, for once the line up is amazing considering the female/shoujo genre/fujoshi anime watchers.

Go and complete the anime I listed in my previous comment and tell me when you're about done with them and I'll send you a new list of series/movies/ova's to check out :) Are there also genre's/themes/stuff you absolutely won't watch/dislike in anime? Let me know and I'll keep it in mind.
Hmm perhaps you could say that but it's a lot of fun to write recommendations and it's a great way to "promote" lesser known or underrated anime, I'm often worried I went toally overboard and am only annoying people with my long ass anime rants though >.<"

So that's it for now, I hope I'll hear from you soon ~

I'm so looking forward to see even a second more of past Gintoki but on the other hand I don't want to watch it because it means there'll be nothing to look foward to/watch once I've watched the movie T^T

Ohh sorry I didn't look at your list to see which anime you've already seen when I recommended them, should've thpught of it sooner ._."

If I personally had to recommend which on-hold anime you should finish I'd say;

~ Sket Dance - it's a good and easy watch, something to watch at the end of a long day and you're looking for a nice and funny/light hearted distraction, except once you get into the character background arcs.

~ Star Driver - I personally loved this anime, the main charatcers are all likeable, I loved the insert songs and the flashy action is a bit silly but in a good way that fits the rest of the serie.

~ Blood Lad - I suppose you'll watch it anyway since it's on top of you plan to watch list.

~ Guilty Crown - I think people don't like it because of the hype it got and it didn't really deliver for some of them. I personally liked it a lot, the visuals are stunning and the insert songs/ost's are great, it's just that the story is very much like Code Geass and people didn't like it I guess? Near the ending the anime took a turn I personally didn't like that much but yeah, not something to hate the serie for.

~ Tsuritama - Just very enjoyable and silly and why not watch it for Tapioca?

~ SNK - Lived up to the hype indeed I guess but I didn't like the last anime arc but the character personalities and development and ost's and animation (dat 3DMG action shots) are so good I'm willing to overlook that

~ Hyouka - Definitely a must watch in my eyes. Very good and smart anime, it's stunning how smart Oreki is but also how very normal/human he is despite his talent for mystery solving. I highly recommend watching this one, higher than the other anime exept for SNK maybe.

Ah wow that's indeed quite a list of planning to watch but I'm glad you found that many interesting. I'm very curious what you think of them so if you feel like it shoot me a message about first or final impressions :)
Samurai Flamenco, DeSu 2, Zetsuen no Tempest and Kamisama Memochou are kind of the weak links of the list as I personally think they're very heavy reliant on personal preferences wether you'll like it or not, I did so I think they're good but I've heard enough people bash them into the ground for reasons I do understand. I hope you'll like them though :)

I don't think I'll watch Chaos;Head, I've heard it's not really all that good and the animation looks a bit old, something I have difficulties watching. I once tried watching Robotics;Note which didn't leave much of an impression on me but I might pick it up in the future. I also don't know whether or not to watch Steins;Gate. I saw episode 1 once but I didn't really like the characters (Rintarou and Mayuri) so eh, yeah... hmm...

Ohh good to hear, I really liked Bakemonogatari, Nekomonogatari, Nisemonogatari and Monogatari 2nd season. At least you'll have enough episodes to entertaing you for a while :) I'm always patiently waiting for the Kizumonogatari movie which has been announced years ago but has been put on hold or something. Be sure you know in which order you want to watch the serie though, chronologically according to release or according to the story.

Hoturabi is a very cute movie but I personally don't think it deserves a score of 8.73 to be very honest. It definitely got the mood right and the characters are nice, as expected of the mangaka of NY but I'd rate in an 8 rather than a 9... But to be fair; I had very high expectations of the movie because of the rating and the praise it got so perhaps I'm too harsh.

I honestly don't understand why so few people have heard of the Mardock Scramble movie triology, I watched movie 1 back when movie 3 was just released in Japan but even then it didn't really get much attention? I really liked the first movie and purposely put watching the 2nd one on hold in order to watch 2 and 3 in one go. Let me know what you think of it :)

About the spring anime;

~ Akuma no Riddle - I was looking forward to this one until I was the yuri tag. I don't know whether to watch it now or not, I don't mind yuri/shoujo ai but it's not something I really seek out either. How was the first episode, worth a watch?

~ Black Bullet - Really liked the story but I'm totally not digging the seemingly 12 year old loli. I don't mind anime with loli in it but with a quite heavy setting like this one it feels a bit strange to add a 12 year old into the fight. Idk maybe I'm nitpicking but I find it a little difficult to take the story serious with such a young character. I do like the action and the male main character though, I'm just hoping it won't turn into a comedy anime with a few actions scenes and a sudden plot arc in the final 3 episodes...

~ Gokukoku no Bryunhildr - What a difficult name my god. I wasn't going to watch it but after reading your comment I gave it a try; it's not bad. I don't find the art style appealing but it's nothing too bad. The story is interesting and I think it has lots of potential but I find the mc very, very stupid and irritating in his action to go that far only to see if she's telling the truth. But yeah, almost all 15 year old mc are like that so nothing new there I guess.

~ Bokura wa Minna Kawaisou - Very much like Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo based on the first episode but only with less pretty art. I don't really like the art at all actually. I like the characters and the story is fine though so I'll stick around.

~ Hitsugi no Chaika - Probably the weakest anime of the season I've seen so far? Not very interesting, fine charatcers but nothing special either. Char design/art style is a bit rough but fine too I guess.

~ Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei - I'm expecting a lot from this based on the hype and the popularity of the LN in Japan but the first episode was good I guess. Nothing special happened but the main characters are both likeable enough and the male main char obviously has something going on so I'm looking forward to that.

~ Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii - Surprisingly entertaining first episode, I'm really liking the female main character. I don't like the fact that the male one is like 15, based on the preview of episode 2 he's rather bratty, spoiled and annoying but who knows, maybe I'm wrong here. I hope so. It'll be a nice change to watch this more slice of life/comedy one compared to the battle ones I'm planning on watching.

~ Kiniro no Corda: Blue Sky - Ehm, very mediocore first episode. I really liked the original Kiniro no Corde serie and I can't understand for the love of god why they would start a complete new serie instead of making a sequel to the first one. The characters are pretty mediocore and stereotype and very much pushovers, which I don't like. I do like the music though and the first serie was really good so I hope some of that will transfer into the new one.

~ Haikyuu! - I was looking forward to a new sport anime, I have a weak spot for them. But I really didn't like this one at all to be honest. The main characters orange hair bothers me and I don't like the char design at all. I understand that our mc is very victory driven but there's a line between determenation and becoming annoying when not giving up and he crossed that one for me. The "rival" character was a little better but nothing special either. Very very medicore for me. I don't know if I expected too much but considering I dislike the char designs, the mc's personality and the first episode was nothing special I might drop this one soon.

~ No Game No Life - I see you've also watched the first episode, god let me talk about this anime. It completely blew my expectations away, when I saw the promo picture I was like "eh this looks too colorful and a bit crappy" but damn I'm so glad I was proven completely wrong.
I totally loved the first episode, comparing first episodes this one wins all the awards of this season for me, I actually watched it twice already. I really like the char design and the art style is very pretty, I like the bright colors so that's definitely a plus. I can't help but compare it to Mondaiji-tachi but that one was a big let down so it has already exceeded that one for me. I'm really wondering where they'll go with the plot from now on but I'm so excited!

I'm also looking forward to Mekaku City Actors though the art style is a bit meh based on the preview I saw.

As you can see I'm giving almost all anime a try this season which is the complete opposite of the previous season, I watched maybe 3 or 4 of those new anime in the end.

Oh eh yeah I got a little carried away I guess *scratches head* I like recommending anime since it's a chance to get them to watch something they might not have found/watched otherwise so I think it's fun :) I do tend to ramble a bit so I'll try to tine it down a bit though it didn't really work out in this message as I can see now ehehehe.

If you ever need more recommendations feel free to ask in the future, I realize I haven't listen all of them haha

Anyway, if you have time let me know what you think of the spring anime and any other serie you're going to watch/picking up again, I like reading different opnions about series :)
Animefanx3 Apr 8, 2014 6:07 PM
Hi there, welcome back! I must thank you for the recommendation, Gintama will always have a special spot in my heart and I'm praying for a new seasn once there's enough manga material. I haven't seen the movie yet, I want to wait till "the time is right" to fully enjoy it:)

Let me think what came out the past few seasons. *goes to google since I can't remember what came out when* I'll work down from winter '13/'14 to a few seasons back. Forgive my attemps at writing summaries, I suck at them but I think all of the recommendatiions below are worth a shot. Be prepered for an enormous list;

~ Noragami - Supernatural slice of life/light action/comedy anime about the Yato god who wants to become the no.1 God in Japan despite him having no shrine yet. He meets Hiyori and finds Yukine and stuff happens. Great opening and ost's with nice comedy but also serious moments, very entertaining and nice story.

~ Hoozuki no Reitetsu - A real underdog of this season. I love the dry and sadistic humor, it's very slice of life but it's a very enjoyable serie. Very unique in a good way but it has to be your kind of humor I guess.

~ Diamand no Ace - Baseball anime, has very nice and intense moments as expected from a sports anime. I'm a big fan of sports anime so I'm very biased but from what I've seen so far (13 episodes) the show has a lot potential.

~ Nagi no Asakura - I haven't seen this one yet but I do feel like recommending it based on reviews and the fact that I plan on watching it myself. Very heavy with drama and love problems but executed in a good way I've heard.

~ Samurai Flamenco - Now this is a dangerous recommendation. I personally liked it. A lot others did so too, until episode 6 or 7 happened. The reason the anime scores so low is because everyone dropped it then, rating it low. It starts out as a normal, believable slice of life anime with Hazama trying to become a Hero in our modern society filled with crimes. He meets the cop Goto and the 2 become friends while Hazama works towards his goal. The first 6 or so episodes are really good but suddenly there's a mix of plot twists and alien enemies and what not. Shame but it's still not a bad watch.

~ Senyuu - only 5 minutes long so worth a look. About a "Hero" who wants to defeat the evil demon lord with his ehm, friend/knight (?) but who often ends up hurting him more than the enemy. Pure comedy and sarcasm.

~ Blood Lad - About the vampire Staz (whom has no interest in blood) whom meets the human Fuyumi who wandered into the demon world and falls instantly for her. But before he can try anything she gets killed and turned into a ghost. Staz promises to look for a way to gether back her body. Quite ecchi but it's a very nice comedy focused anime with enough action to keep it interesting.

~ Uchouten Kazoku - Very relaxing and slice of life/supernatural anime. I don't know if you've seen Natsume Yuujinchou but it's like that. About a tanuki family in a world where the sky is for the Tengu, the city for the humans and the ground for the Tanuki (if I remember correctly) and their interactions. Tanuki have the power to change their appearance to make them look human or into an object for example. Very soothing and nice anime, bit of an under dog though.

~ Shingeki no Kyojin - What to say, just watch it. Lots of action, deaths and gore (blood spilling everywhere, limbs being torn off etc) but nothing too extreme/sick. One of the best story heavy anime that came out since well, a while. Extremely popular but for a reason, it's very damn good imo.

~ Devil Survivor 2 - I don't know if you'll like it. But I did so yeah... Based on a game so as expected very rushed but I really liked the main character. He's the hero of the show (of course) but he is more realistic than most of those types are. He's insecure about his powers, what to do with them, which side to choose, if he should fight with his friends or leave them be in order to protect him etc. Though the execution of the story wasn't all that well I really liked th "normal human" side of him. The plot is fairly simple but it was a good watch for me. The ending song is great so def check that out at least.

~ Suisei no Gargantia - Very nice slice of life-ish anime with a little action. The plot is surprisingly good/deep and it's an interesting concept; Ledo/Redo is a soldier in the distant future and is accidentally sent back to the past during a fight where he and his AI robot, Chamber, have to look for a way back. Having come from a very advanced society he has to learn how to cope in a very "primitve" one now. Def worth checking out.

~ Hakkenden Touhou Hakken Ibun - I personally liked this a lot, the ost is amazing and there's a song by Hitomi (Stories/Continued Story from Code Geass). Shino and his childhood friends Sosuke and Hamaji (side char) are the sole suvivors of their village after an epidemic broke out. Fast forwarding to now they're being summoned by the church who is looking for answers and for the infamous sword Murasame. The plot is a bit hard to describe but I really liked it, worth checking out.

~ Cuticle Tantei Inaba - Really really strange underdog anime about a half human half wolf detective who can get clues/power ups from eating someone's hair. Yes it sounds disgusting but it's not that bad in the anime. He's always fighting with his 2 teammates to defeat the mafioso boss Valentino who is literally a goat. It sounds so ridiculous but it's pure comedy gold. It reminded me a bit of Gintama humor at times so perhaps worth a shot

~ Psycho Pass - Nice action and psychological anime about a future where society is controlled through readings of people's mind and rated harmfull or not on it. The story follows thel police and it's newest member Akane whom are fighting against the crime rate. Nice story, dark anime though, can be a little gory/lightly disturbing stuff but really good. Akane is a little whiny shit but the rest is good enough to make up for it.

~ Chuunibyou - Did you have a period in your life you were convinced you were secretly a magician or had special powers? Did you dress up and act out on those thoughts? That's the eight grade syndrom; chuunibyou. Yuuta has sworn to leave that embarrassing past behind him at the begin of his high school but meets the chunnibyou Rikka whom disturbs this plan. Very funny and seriously too cute comedy/slice of life anime.

~ Zetsuen no Tempest - Very mixed about this anime. It started out so good and promising but then the 2nd part was just... not what I wanted it to be. The story; Yoshino and his old friend Mahiro meet again when strange things are happening in Japan. Mahiro explains that he made a deal with the head of the magic enabled Kusaribe clan, Hakaze, to destroy the "Tree of World's End" to preserve the "Tree of Origin" and indirectly save the world, in exchange for intormation about the murder who killed Mahiro's sister years ago. Do NOT go to the mal page for this anime, it mentions a spoiler, I don't remember if it's shown in the 1st episode or only later but to be safe, don't.

~ Sword Art Online - Very overhyped but not bad anime in my eyes. Don't expect too much and it's a very enjoyable watch. The animation and landscapes etc is beautiful, the main theme/ost is very good and the story itself is interesting. Kirito and hunderd thousands of other players are trapped in a virtual realty game, unable to log out and told they'll die for real if they die in the game. In order to escape they'll have to clear all 99 floors and defeat the final boss. Again, don't expect too much and it's a fairly good watch.

~ Hyouka - God watch it now. Really good high school mystery/light romance anime. Oreki has an amazing talent for solving mysteries and meeets Chitanda whom has been looking for answers of a past event for years now. The 2 are in the Classics club together with Satoshi and Mayaka and try to unravel the mystery. Just watch it.

~ Kuroko no Basket - Well the title says it all; a sports anime about Basketball. Just go and watch it. It's great but the 2nd season is possibly even better. Kurkoko has a very special talent for basketball, he's a member of the Generation of Miracles. Returning from america, Kagami joins the basketball club without expecting to find any real talent in Japan but learns of the GoM and vows to beat them. Kurkok and Kagami team up to beat them all.

~ Tsuritama - Very unique but cute slice of life/supernatural anime about the alien Haru whom tries to convice Yuki to help him save the world by catching this enormous fish. Yes it's a little random but that's the charm of the anime I guess. Very silly but a fairly entertaining watch.

~ Sakamichi no Apollon - I don't know how to describe this so here's part of the MAL summary; Set against the backdrop of a seaside town with a scent of American culture, this series is a drama about young people coming into their own, crossing each other's paths, and finding friendship, love, and music! Fairly good, lots of drama and romance and classical music.

~ Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou - Comedy/slice of life school anime. Has some nice comedy moments and just an entertaining watch.

~ Guilty Crown - Really good ost's and some nice visuals. The anime feels like a bit of a Code Geass ripoff according to some but it's not bad, just very overhyped. Fairly good plot, a bit Code Geass like indeed but that's not a bad thing, Code Geass was an amazing anime in my eyes. Action, drama, supernatural.

~ Chihayafuru - Ever heard of the Japanese sport Karuta? The anime follows Chihaya and Taichi and their former team member Arata whom are trying to become the crowned King and Queen in the Karuta society. Karuta might sound a little dull if you google it but damn it's such a good anime. Humor, competition (same level as any other good sports anime), drama and some romance. Def a must watch.

~ Miarai Nikki - Fairly good yet also disappointing. Idk, I expected more, something different? Yukine and 11 others are foreced to play a kill or get killed game in order to become the new God of the world. They all have a cellphone with a unique ability, Yukiteru's can predict the future for example. Rather dark at times and a bit gory (blood, limbs cut off I believe) but fairly good.

~ Kimi to Boku - If you're looking for a cute not plot heavy school and slice of life anime

~ Kami-sama no Memochou - Fairly interesting anime about a group of friends whom are "detectives". With little romance and little drama it's a nice watch.

~ Ikoku Meiro no Croisee - Cute and enteraining anime about a Japanese girl whom comes to live in I believe English in like the 90's or sometihing like that. Very cute.

~ Ao no Exorcist - About Rin (+ his brother) and his fight against Satan as student at the exorcism school. I can't really say more because that's spoilers. Don't go to the mal page, spoilers! Fairly enjoyable but not stunning like some hypers say.

~ Sket Dance - mangaka of this one was an assistant working for the Gintama manga I've heard, the humor is a bit similar because of that. Fairly entertaining watch, not as good as Gintama but especially the character background stories are really surprisingly good and interesting.

~ Hanasaku Iroha - cute slice of life/drama anime about a group of young adults trying to figure out life and love while working/living in a hot spring.

~ Star Driver - Fairly unique plot and for me very entertaining. Takuto enrolls in a school in the middle of a secluded island where he meets Wako and Sugita. There are gigantic robits, Cybodies, sealed/bound to the island but the Glittering Crux are trying to break the 4 seals sealing the Cybodies to the island to take them to the outside world and rule there. Takuto and his friends must fight to prevent this. Lots of fighting but with a repetetive transformation sequence, lots of drama/romance and really really really good ost's/insert songs. Mecha/slice of life/drama/romance. Very entertaining and an one of a kind anime.

Anime I haven't seen yet/won't watch myself but that are very popular (I'm guessing the genre for some of them);
Golden Time (romance), Kill la Kill (ecchi/action), Log Horizon (action I guess?), Magi: The Kingdom of Magic (magic/adventure/action/comedy), Dangan Ronpa (mystery/thriller?), Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru (romance/comedy), Another (mystery/thriller), Haiyore Nyaruko-san (parody/comedy), Knight in the Area (sports, soccer), Usagi Drop (slice of life), Deadman Wonderland, Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica (drama, thriller, psychological), [C] The money of soul and the possibility control (action/thriller/mystery)

Must watch according to everyone: Steins;Gate. Haven't seen it myself yet but heard it's so good.

I also see you haven't seen Bakemonogatari. I don't know if you'll like it. It's very fan service heavy but the plot is actually very interesting if you can look past it. Araragi is very likeable and the girls as well I guess? I think it's a very unique and very Shaft like anime.

Another recommendation; the ova Death Billiards. I believe it's made by animators to be so they're not professionals yet but damn it's good. It's a very interesting story/concept and the ending speech was really well done/executed, better than some "professionals" have done in other series.

Movie recommendations; Hoturabi no Mori E (very cute and relaxing anime, by the same mangaka as Natsume Yuujinchou) & Mardock Scramble (can get quite gory and has some fan service/uncensored shit so make sure you're not in public watching this)

OKAY PHEW THAT WAS IT. I'm tired, my hands are almost hurting from typing this much and I must stop myself now or I'll just go on and on and blab about the spring anime and upcoming summer anime and stuff so no. This is it. Don't worry. I'm done. For now :)

Oh yeah before I forget to ask; are you going to watch any of the new winter anime?
