I will add something for the new people at the start then, keeping that part for those that have watched the show.
Dasman Mar 1, 2016 9:26 AM
but it does, it is everything about that great show. (I do love it but that is all most people are saying in comment threads)

nah,i wouldnt call it arrogance...dont know if you watched it or not, liked it or not and i respect every opinion but that thing you said was just too minor of a thing to change one's opinion about an anime...
LoneWizzy Feb 21, 2016 12:16 AM
My point is this. If you use too much of something, you eventually take on characteristics of it until you become it. Geass did that with chess which is sort of a downfall really.
my point is,Geass DIDNT do it...It was only at first episode of S1 and first episode of S2...2 times...Something you only use twice, maybe not more than 5 minutes in a 50 episode series is SO minor that it can possibly cause its downfall...Its like saying a grand palace is shitty just because you saw 2 flies in it...

Ow... If that's the case, I think you were prety close with this one. I misunderstood you after all ;)
LoneWizzy Feb 20, 2016 10:00 AM
Well that was THE point of Code Geass...It was never an actuall chess even though they made chess references many times...Death Note was a chess game, both sides lacked any emotions and they made the perfect move at the moment thinking about future and predicting other side's movements...%100 logic %0 emotion...A pure mind game, clash between 2 players(Except one of the players had an extra piece)

But Code Geass was different,Code Geass was all about human emotions and how those emotions are more important than any superrpower, military or intelligence...CC's actions,Orange changing sides,Lelouch's only weakness being his sister,Lelouch using that Rolo guy using his emotions and traumas,Black Knights' betrayal,EVERYTHIN Suzuki did...

Chess games are about logic and predictions, not emotions...Code Geass was never a chess game, thus Code Geass didnt fail in teh aspect of a chess game....

In fact, they failed to capture the entire war except the main characters. They hardly addressed the status of the war and its effects on the population, environment, morale, materials and resources, leaderships, nothing.
Well said...Its sad to see how much potential they wasted with Aldnoah Zero...It could have been much more,it could have been Code Geass level good but instead it became shit...I cant believe the story written by actual writers...People really got paid for creating those characters can you believe it?!Its tragicomic..

an old Latin phrase stating that the end justifies the means

Lol? I don't know, maybe I misunderstood you... But did you just said, that "aldnoah" means something like "the end justifies means"...? If you actually did - you're wrong mate. It'll be more like "exitus acta probat".

Lol! No problem! :)

Hi! I really like your Psycho Pass review! Thumbs up! :)

Angel Beats has a few problems but I definitely agree it's still really good.

Good review, keep it up.

Even funnier still while he has now gated himself from being "attacked" by us who respect the finer qualities of this anime, he goes one step further and puts this in his bio "I'm sorry but if you gave Grimgar a 9 or 10 you are a special snowflake.". Honestly good riddance to him, I don't like cowards who run and hide the moment they realize they've been outgunned in a battle they started.

Honestly, I only decided to put up a review after seeing the immense amounts of unnecessary backlash against the series simply for the ridiculous reason of it being slow and the characters not being Kirito/Ains Al Ghoul levels of OP. Lightwork is literally the type of hater I've seen in many anime sites streaming this series, bashing on its slowness and the characters lack of generic know-it-all type personality. The fact that Light went ahead and walled himself off to actually constructive criticism to his annoyingly oppressive & shallow opinions speaks volumes on the type of person he is. He'll dish it out, but once you start fighting back he shut's the door.

Sadly enough he'll probably be at it again in a few days :/

Honestly, Steve your review was great, pay Lightwork no mind it seems he's trolling everyone who gave Grimgar a positive review. Quite pathetic if I must say.
It’s time to ditch the text file.
