I'm not sure if they're big favorites, but I like Lanzhu, Kanata and Karin too. I'm trying to think of a specific reason, but I don't really have anything except I like their personalities

I barely rewatch shows tbh. If I rewatch something then really just favorite episodes or I rewatch it when I haven't seen it in years. Do you have any favorite episodes from Moomins? and do you enjoy the Finnish dub or prefer the English one?

Sorry for taking so long to respond:( I've barely been able to check mal cause i've been busy with exams but i finally found the time to check your msg!

Personally I've never been into collecting figures as some of them are quite pricey and since i live in finland everything is expensive and quite hard to find as you might know so i've been focusing on manga for the time being. I do have 2 nendoroids though but don't have any plans of buying more anytime soon lol.

I've never fully gotten into the Fate series however i believe i've watched Fate/Zero first and second seasons and Fate/Stay night UBW. The series itself didn't manage to draw me into it but i did enjoy the characters like Toosaka Rin, Lancer and Waver Velvet. I didn't like Emiya Shirou much at all which kind of ruined the fate/stay night UBW for me but besides that it was a great anime with beautiful animations and the fight scenes were very well done!

As for my favourites Steins;Gate is an anime im currently obsessed with. I was pleasently surprised with how interesting it was after i'd heard so many people criticize it for being boring the first 10 episodes or so. It hooked me in immediately and even the characters that i disliked in the beginning of the show ended up growing on me and became my favorites. I loved the characters backstories because of how unpredictable and interesting they were and each character was special with their flaws and strengths. Animation wise it's your typical 2000's art style and animation. Nothing specifically stood out for me personally but i wasnt bothered by it.

Overall Steins:Gate, Banana Fish, Neon Genesis Evangelion and Vinland Saga are all in my nr 1 spot atm. I love everything about them from the animation to the story and the characters. The way Vinland Saga handled the whole typical revenge plot so differently and maturely was one of my favorite things about it and still is. I loved Thorfinns character development so much and every second of the manga was interesting so i ended up bingng it all in one sitting. Took me about 6 hours i believe but was definitely worth it.

For NGE what first drew me into it was the art style. I've always loved artstyles of older animes despite the characters sometimes looking like bugs LOL. What kept me going throughout the series was definitely Shinji himself. I felt very similar to him (not in the hospital scene way though) and enjoyed watching how he dealt (or didnt) with certain situations. Rei is also one of my most favorite characters because of her development throughout the series.

For FMAB and Violet Evergarden what i enjoyed most were the plots and stories. For Violet Evergarden each episode was similar yet completely different. Seeing how Violet slowly started changing made me cry haha. FMAB also got me with its occasional comedy after action filled scenes. Banana Fish is something that i just can't put into words except that i loved it. I havent watched AOT since the part 1 of 3rd season so maybe i should get on with that... lol

Hmm for some animes i dislike... i agree withyou on Nanatsu no Taizai. It was one of my first animes so at the time i was completely hooked and loved every second of it completely ignoring ... well everything else. After a couple of years once i got to watch more anime i realised how bad it was. Death Note is another anime that i dont really dislike but i dont hold much affection for either. It's just... there. I do get the appeal for it and it was quite interesting however i found that it got a bit boring after a while but some scenes are still stuck in my head because of how amazing they were so to each their own.

I'm not usually very critical when it comes to reviewing things it's more just me liking what i like and not liking what i dont like. I dont have the best taste but I enjoy what i do regardless.

Haiii! I don't send friend requests often so I don't know how it usually works here so i just winged it lmaoo. Also you're welcome for the compliment, i would say more but i'm afraid it would come off as too much, but i do love it. Absolutely adorable aahh.

I was surprised to see BF in your favorites since most people usually have the anime only cause the manga is so old. Good taste lolol. I have the whole physical collection for it and am now trying to get the japanese box set! Are you the type to collect manga and/or figures or do you simply read online?

Also what are some of your other favorites (or non-favourites)? I know they're on your profile but it's always nicer to hear them straight from the person with more detail. :))
