But I have seen some reviewers pussy-footing aeound the word as if it is a curse. In the other hand they don 't seem at all worried about the word "bland" when in reality they didn't took the time to look deeper into the subject

Great Ergo Proxy review! I just wish you'd have touched on the FANTASTIC directing when talking about the animation. I can't really think of anything that rivals it except maybe Evangelion or Satoshi Kon's stuff. (I don't really know all that much about live action fim to give any more examples but I think Kuberick is similar, even though I've yet to see any of his films XD)

I want to thank you for writing such an amazing review of ergo proxy. ^^ I watched it way before now (2009) and I can guarantee there weren't too many 'good reviews' out there for it (I usually read some reviews of my favorite series to see what people think lol).
