Yeah I thought about "Sleepy Princess in the Demons Castle" too when watching it, though this one was special for its artistic style I would say, this is what made it memorable overall.

Okay I can definitely see where the craziness comes from when you say things like that ahaha, it actually makes me want to check it out just for fun because it feels like it can get crazier and crazier by the end, did you continue it?

Why was www.Working bad in your opinion though? I wanted to check the series so I'm curious, but this one is a spin-off to the main series right? It's because the new characters are bad?

The Jewelpet: Magical Change plot actually sounds like what they did in Precure as well because I used to watch a few entries from this franchise but I eventually stopped because I'm not really interested anymore but it was interesting for this aspect sometimes.

I don't know why they would stop making it as enjoyable for a wide audience as possible except if parents actually complained or if it became less popular among children than what they expected but that's kinda sad how they would remove all of these aspects to be honest :/ It's actually what Yu Gi Oh became the more sequels it got the more "children friendly" it became especially when you know how the very first entry was actually violent and had some dark moments like a game with alcohol and a lighter and if the guy drops the lighter he would die burning etc you wouldn't expect that in Yu Gi Oh, and now the most recent one looks like an anime only made for 4 to 8 years old.

Too bad it seems like they stopped Jewelpet though, it makes me think about some very similar series I watched like this one https://myanimelist.net/anime/40327/Mewkledreamy I never finished S2 though

I agree for Spy x Family S2, I think the very 1st cour of the 1st season was the best overall though, but it's probably because the beginning of the story is very exciting

Yeah that definitely sound like a stupid situation, don't know why they would do that on purpose though if people can't work anymore when programs are stopping.

I finished the show and loved it tbh, I think most of the episodes were really diverse and with that kind of original plot it was always entertaining, not to mention well paced and I also like the characters... definitely looking forward to seeing S2.

You mean that Shachiku-san anime? I think it was pretty fun but not that memorable, Senko-san is better I would say. I never watched Servant x Service but heard it was good? Why are you watching Jewelpet? Is it good? Because it's a show I used to watch when I was much younger that's actually fun to hear about this one again, like Ojamajo Doremi

Eh, that's actually a good strategy, it's sometimes hard to watch directly anime episodes at work though, but reading manga when you're bored is the best thing to do lol.

Yeah I'm actually watching the show now, and I like it, it's actually pretty fun how I'm hungry watching these "tortures" and it often end up being cute.

Have you got COVID several times yet? I only got it once but it was tough, I had a high fever and it lasted for so long, not to mention I was on vacation abroad so it made things way worse lol.

I guess it depends on how you're being treated there but 3 weeks sure feels really long, especially during this period... I stayed like 2 weeks at the hospital back then and I've never been that bored in my life.

That's definitely understandable I think December was a busy month for all of us xD But at least all of these events were positive EXCEPT for getting COVID lmao, I hope it wasn't too rough, but we're used to it at this point.

Indeed, I can't imagine the pain in this situation, it's already not pleasant to have to go to the clinic during this time but this is even more frustrating, I would say at least in Summer you can go outside and enjoy the weather but when you can't really do that for most of the day and you have to stay inside while it's too hot it's also really bad...

The issue is that's hard to have a proper opinion about it because it can be divided between kinks that are purely online kinks that don't involve real-life people as you said but a part of those amongst what we can see online are behaviors that are absolutely unacceptable in real life and it helps people thinking that it is a normal thing to do and to normalize it when it shouldn't be the case at all, just like voyeurism which one of Japan/Korea biggest issue in public places, some of these do not have a clear distinction if it's for the sake of the story or simply added because it's kinky or even funny while it's a serious society issue, what you see on internet can have repercussions in real life for people that had this hidden inside themselves. Sadly it's kinda on a case-by-case basis but we must not neglect it.

Yeah I understand, mature topics that are mixed with sexuality like that are interesting, though it's probably different from what you would expect in this anime but that's a change to how it is often aborded overall in anime/manga since it's also rare, I remember that Kuzu no Honkai anime for years ago that did it I hated it back then because I was immature but now that I think about it it's probably well done, I would need to rewatch it I guess.

I actually really liked the 100 girlfriend anime! More than I expected to be honest, it's not only for the concept but just the mix of comedy and parody at the same time it works well with also a great pacing since it's always diverse with how girls are shortly concluded but at the same time it doesn't feel too fast!

Yes and Japan (with Korea too) has a distorted vision of sexuality by its social norms, so it became quite a big problem, but we can easily see that in anime/manga already with the amount of kinks they show, this is also why they have big issues regarding voyeurism in subway/tramway. But yes, and we don't speak much about racism in these countries because it isn't racially mixed but I heard that people are also much more racist than we can see in the EU etc, so many people are delusional "I wanna live in Japan and all" without considering these issues.

I replied about the sexual aspect of Japanese society before reading what you wrote about the Magical girl manga but I think it exactly summarizes what I just said ahaha, so I'm not surprised at all by the kink aspects and how they can sell that and produce it without any issue because it became a norm for most of them. Thanks for the info, I think that's something that can be "improved" in the anime if they censor/skip some of the weirdest sexual aspects because anime adaptation often do that but it's hard to know yet, I'm interested by all the positive aspects you quoted though.

And also thanks for the 100 girlfriend beginning review, I think that what you said makes me think of an improved (or even mocked) better version of Kanojo mo Kanojo, since this is basically the same but with a much better MC (since Kanojo mo Kanojo's one is bland) and the way they handle the girls sound similar as well, I just love how the author pushes it to 100 like that's crazy but this is what you love seeing in anime/manga xD I'm definitely going to start it soon to be honest, because I also expect it to continue for many seasons after this one
