Hello. I just completed reading Toriko & I may have to recommend reading it over watching it. However, I do suggest seeing the 2 Toriko movies as a way to get you intrigued in it. The anime adaptation is not the worst thing I've seen but I'm not satisfied with the final product. The 2011 anime contains changes from the source material and it's animation starts to fall apart in the last 30 or so episodes. There's censorship & the tone isn't as brutal as the manga. Having said that, the anime strengths are its nature scenes & moments that aren't action oriented. It excels in creating atmosphere & the spirit of adventure but has highs and lows when it comes to fight scenes. A lot of the early episodes have smoother animation than its later ones. The Gourmet Beasts are also a treat to see in animation more so when it comes to their unique sound design via roars and growls. The manga is pretty lengthy but super creative. The better scan quality are the ones from Viz's so you may have to use the Shonen Jump App. Toriko has a lot of strong points about halfway through the series. Stuff gets crazier but after a certain point it becomes very dense with lore & Toriko & Komatsu get the most spotlight out of the other main characters. It's not as tragic as Fist Of The North Star but it does have a few dramatic moments. Toriko as a manga is like a mix of Hokuto, Kinnikuman & One Piece due to its manliness, animals, crazy abilities and designs including environments. Toriko's depiction of Planet Earth is incredible & the fights are filled with gritty testosterone. Towards the end, the series develops a horror tone with it's final enemy, Neo. The art is beautifully detailed and super elaborate. The manga feels big & lives up as a great work of imagination.

Yeah I have Vol 10, too. I'm waiting for Vol 11 to come in stock. From this point onward we'll be getting FOTNS 2 material. These particular chapters have been available in low quality for the longest time. So I really want to see them in the latest better format. Raoh left an everlasting impact from that point on & it was never replicated.

thanks for accepting! Inuyasha was one of the first anime shows I watched.

Good man how are you?

Raoh becoming a favorite definitely happened to me. I'm also up to date with the VIZ English releases. If you want someone similar to Raoh, I'd recommend watching the 2020 adaptation of Dragon Quest: The Adventure Of Dai. The villain Hadlar has some stunning changes throughout his appearances in the story. That character took me by complete surprise, especially when he achieved manliness.

Treasure Island barely got a U.S. release via bluray that's sub only. I've seen about 3 or 4 adaptations of Treasure Island and I think the anime is the best one due to being 26 eps instead of a movie. I still haven't reviewed the original Cobra anime but it definitely has that jazz ost that's great. Visuals are cool tool since it was directed by Osamu Dezaki. The other Cobra anime from the late 2000's don't have the same music vibe but the episodes are still good to watch.

Hey, that's cool to hear! Lupin Zero is really short and you could watch that any time without finishing previous Lupin parts. Have you looked into the Space Adventure Cobra anime series? It has mini arcs like Gintama but it's mostly an episodic format. I need to finish City Hunter at some point. More so when bluray footage is higher quality than the ADV Films DVD rips I saw back then. Lupin Part 2 & Part 3 can get really crazy at times.

I've only seen 52 episodes so far. Those apparently I heard everyone absolutely hated it in the early episodes? I enjoyed it from episodes 1, when you started loving it?

SAME THOUGHTS, LITERALLY! I also thought the same as you once I finshed Yakuza Series and the whole Kiryu Saga was amazing, literal peak fiction. The ending really got me emotional as well, it was so bittersweet...

I can't wait to see you start LAD and hear your thoughts about it. At least you played some turn-based games, this is literally my first turn-based game LMFAO but for me it doesn't fit in the Yakuza Series since it's more action and punching than waiting for rounds and stuff but I wanna see your opinion on it once you play it. RGG Studio made a great game for sure the characters are amazing in my eyes and I am also sure you will very much love the characters.

Oh yes I see. I can't wait to play Judgement as well once I finish LAD and Ishin, I heard the characters are cool and the story is well made as well. THAT'S SO TRUE what you said about the Yakuza Series, I also liked Yakuza 6 OST's the most tbh but in general all of them had great OST's. Someyas last battle (Destiny) is pure heat! The boss fight and the OST were perfect and the character was amazing too! I am so glad to hear that you liked the Yakuza Series and call it your favorite game series of all time because that's what I also think for myself. I used to say that about The Witcher Series but after playing Yakuza Series I changed my mind real quick but still the Witcher Series is my second favorite that's for sure!

That's amazing! The GoW Bundle with the PS5 is great you did a great job getting this bundle! I wanted to play the GoW maybe I will buy it on PC and one day if I get the PS5 I will buy GoW Ragnarok. I am the same as you I have never played GoW games before but playing the new games with maybe watching the summary of the other games would be cool and even if I don't its still fine (I hope LOL).

Damn that's unfortunate. PS really suck sometimes they must fix it to 60 fps. I know we can be used to 30 fps but still the whole experience with 60 fps is much better and nicer, also smoother as you know. That's a nice thing you did! I always like to buy the games when I finish the game before them like when I finished Yakuza 0 I bought Yakuza Kiwami 1 and so on... I will buy Judgement and Lost Judgement once I finish Yakuza 7 and Yakuza Ishin since Judgement is a spin off. I can't wait to play all of these games and can't wait for Judgement to get on PS Plus so you can get it.

Great minds think alike brother! Love to see that we share the same opinions here as well! :D
It's better that you decided to finish the Yakuza Series first before going to Yakuza Ishin that's what I also thought, I have to finish Yakuza 7 (which is soon I am on Chapter 9 right now) and then I will for sure buy the Deluxe Edition and enjoy this beautiful game.

I have seen a Kiryu and Kenshiro video together in the Fist of the North Star Game but I didn't know it was that game. It really sounds good it's just too bad as you said that it's only on PlayStation. I hope they release it on PC, I only watched Fist of the North Star as a kid but I don't remember much but I would love to give this game a try and since it's from SEGA and the same gameplay as Yakuza I am pretty sure I will love it too! Thank you for telling me about it, I hope they will release it one day on PC!

I totally agree with you. I haven't enjoy a Story so much ever since I have read Berserk. It's truely one of the greatest stories ever told! Those people who talk bad about Vinland are mostly Anime watchers or just like you said who doesn't care about the real aspect but for the action stuff. Sadly I have friends irl who say ever since Season 1 it's boring blablabla they don't like it just the usual hate comments so yeah I hope that changes one day and those people see the true aspect of Vinland and how truely peak fiction it is.

YESSIR love to see it! I am glad that you love Yakuza 5 it's really well made and all the characters are incredible! I binged the game by playing all the side stories and did almost everything (except collectibles and those stuff ofc) but I really enjoyed it and I have spent a lot of time playing it I also think it's my most played Yakuza game too. To be fair I binged all the games because I am way too hyped for it lmao. The problem I have with is Yakuza 7 since its turn-based. It's my first ever turn-based game so I am having my problems I think it's not fitting to a Yakuza game but the game generally is really good and the story is really well made and I am gonna continue playing soon too! Shinada is a great character it's sad that he got introduced later and wasn't relevant after Yakuza 5 but his story ended and it was really good and thinking about it gives me goosebumps! Same goes for Masayoshi Tanimura in Yakuza 4 he was a really good character and I liked him the most out of the new characters tbh but since I played Yakuza 5 Shun Akiyama and Taiga Saejima got into my favorites too I love these guys!

Glad to see you playing Yakuza 6! I played all the games on my PC because I don't use my PS4 anymore also on PC I have more options for the Graphics and FPS. PS5 is really good I am also planning to get it maybe for the exclusive games and it makes up in your situation ofc! I hope you will still buy a new gaming PC one day later because it's a whole different experience and you are gonna love it! I can't wait to see you finish Yakuza 6 and start Yakuza 7! I still remember talking with you about starting the Yakuza series and when you started it too, time really flies by!

Once I finish Yakuza 7 I will buy Yakuza Ishin and I can't wait to be hoenst, I love the Shogun Era and the whole settings about it and I can't wait to see so many characters back in business!
