And to add to my impressions about evangelion, Im really happy shinji is able to let go of his issues. And the one who helped them the most is,, Mari. Now you might be thinking why? Well Mari is the only character that helped Asuka, Rei, and Shinji convey their feelings. Mari made it easier for Asuka to say that she liked shinji. Shinji then now had the will to save everyone, And say his old feelings to asuka, And say goodbye to not only rei and asuka, But to his past issues also. That's why Mari was the game changer of this rebuild. And I know we all watched this for the cool robots and shit but the ending is really satisfying, Seeing shinji being happy for once with his decisions is a really solid way to end, As it was his issues haunting him.

Neon genesis evangelion: Thrice upon a time is such an amazing movie, The movie perfectly portrayed of how a human will go to such limits to be reconciled with someone important that has been lost. The idea of re-writing the world instead of resetting the world, resetting everyone's fate. But what shinji did is shocking, He removed
the reason why everything started, The eva series. And as he removed this, He accepted the painful reality and proceeded to save his friends and live in this painful world. And it ended with shinji finally atoning for the so called "sins" he made (N3I) And It not only ended in good terms with shinji, So did with gendo. He finally reunited with his wife, After all those sacrifices that was made. Both sides had a win/win situation. It also portrayed on how mankind should work with each other, Because cooperation results in hope, And hope results in change. And at last, This anime really portrayed regret and trauma well, It portrayed perfectly how regret and trauma perfectly destroys a human in every aspect. And as it is not easy to move over, Like there is a wall you cannot climb over Or A wound that seems to heal but leaves a scar. Though we cannot reject that these happened, This hones us to be a more matured person, That can endure pain despite of not having any confidence in yourself, I can truly relate to shinji. Not because we both wished for a good world, But because we both feared of hurting someone. Truly amazing.
