Also it had awful attempts at slowmotion in some scenes. The music was amazing doe. Guts theme is overrated doe.

The action scenes are literally powerpoint slideshows, and its age is not an excuse because there existed way better made anime before and during the same time. It may be faithful but it still removed too much. Casca was also absolutely horrible in that version. I did watch it, you don't need to be a fanboy who can't accept others disliking shows he likes.

I mean, yea? I dropped Berserk 10 years ago around chapter 250. It felt too slow and aimless after the Golden Age arc. And now it'll never be finished so I can't see myself ever picking it back up again.
